It's 100% down. Been around 2 hours since they were supposed to land. Plane ran out of gas around 2 hours ago. They only carry enough for the trip plus a little extra. Looks like it crashed into the sea. They are trying to find the wreckage now and it sounds like they have a good idea where it went down.

Airplane wreckage reportedly found east of Belitung Island, in Indonesia. No confirmation if Air Asia 8501.
"The plane requested to the air traffic control to fly to the left side which was approved, but their request to fly to 38,000 feet level from 32,000 feet could not be approved at that time due to a traffic, there was a flight above, and five minutes later the flight disappeared from radar," said an Indonesian air transport official.
It it seems like this flight isn't getting remotely the same attention as the Malaysian flight that disappeared months ago. But maybe it's still early and the Malaysian flight didn't become big news until they were unable to find the wreckage?
What's ironic is some 18 year old from Indonesia is currently sending me naked pics of her. Foreigners are funny. She didn't know it was possible to have sex with 2 guys at the same time. Haha
this makes me feel good about my 14 hour flight i'm taking in a couple of months. solid

A regular poster in another forum who works in some aspect of Indonesian aviation safety has stated that from his inside information, the plane went "from 32000 to 36300 and down again to 24000ft or so (in) just over a minute."
He hints that the people who have looked at the radar data believe that the plane must have broken up or lost control surfaces, quote: "it ain't a pretty picture".
70% of the victims' brains are avulsed (looked that word up if you don't know it).
These people are typically decapitated...but the decapitations typically occur just above/around the mouth...not the neck.
