After winning the triple crown, where does American Pharoah rank among the all time greats?

Top Ten for sure and this was not a weak crop of 3 year olds (JMHO)

We can look back in about a year from now.....
I think the only way we'll know for sure how good these 3 year olds are is when they turn into 4 year olds. You and I both know that not every crop of 3 year olds are the same. I've seen some very strong horse racing years where the crop of 3 year olds were very deep and so good that there was no way there was going to be a Triple Crown winner. This year doesn't appear to be one of them. But I still give AP credit. The TC is difficult to win because these days horses aren't bred for distance as much anymore as they are speed.

AP took the best shot of most of the 3 year old crop....Dortmund, Firing Line, Frosted, and Honor Code should do well as 4 year olds......and some three year olds will have a great career on turf.......the only thing that kept AP from winning all three wire to wire was the post he had at the Derby (18 post)......no doubt in my mind that AP is a special horse......he proved it on the track.......

this horse is soo over rated, didn't have any challengers at all, ok it ran a 2:26, and in no way was he toying at all, that horse ran its heart out until the final 50 yards. LOL at this greenbacks dope, acts like he helped Baffert with this horse, biggest air bettor on this forum, almost 10k posts in a little over a year and posts plays in Every forum. proof of somebody that gets off trying to tout with no action. Pharoah is not a top 20 horse of all time, he was just the right place, just the right time. Cali Crome was Easily a triple crown winner if it faced 2015 competition.

That's funny stuff. CC wasn't even in the money in last years Belmont, he placed 4th.
The winner Tonalist time of 2.28 & change calculates to 10 lengths behind AP's 2:26, & CC
was behind him. This year 2015 CC ran 2 races so far & lost both, this shows pretty feeble analysis on your part.

American P. may not be one of the top 15 to 20 thoroughbreds of all time, time will tell. I was there at one of
the most highly anticipated races in history. It w s the only time in history when 3 Horses of the Year faced
one another in the Woodward Stakes at Aqueduct, Damascus 1967, Buckpasser 1966 & Dr. Fager 1968.
So many greats through the years but that race had 2 of the top 15.
