Rutgers +3.5 ($1,500)
Providence won against a top-ranked team for the first time in over 30 years and they are almost a lock to make it to the big dance, but once a team beat the top team in the nation, that team automatically has a target sign on them, as now everyone wants to beat them.
Providence is definatelly tired after playing three Big East powerhouses back-to-back-to back, capping it with a win over #1 Pittsburgh, and with Nova game comming up they could overlook this Rutgers team that is relaxed, with revenge on their minds.
Providence is 1-10 against the line against top 100 efh teams this season according to kenpom.com winning only 3 of 11 games. They are 14-3 (9-4 against the line) against everyone else this season. Unfortunatelly for them, Rutgers is a top 15 efh team int he nation and their close game at Providence was not a surprise at all. They have what it takes to give them a scare today.
Tennessee +4.5 ($ 1,500)
This is the time of year where the SoS, bench production and experience start to really matter. Florida is #221 in bench minutes, #313 in experience and #303 in non conference SoS. Tennessee is not very experienced (#267) but they are very deep (#80 in bench minutes) and they have a top 15 SoS in the nation.
Tennessee won 4 straight against Florida, they have a better defense and their offense is for real. Florida's best three wins this season came against Washington (by 2), at Auburn (by 3) and vs S.Carolina (by 4). They have no wins of 5+ points this season against top teams.
Tennessee has wins over GT, MQT, SC, FLA and close losses against Memphis (by 2) and Gonzaga (overtime).
Atlanta Hawks +4 ($ 1,500)
The Hawks are 20-6 at home this season and the Cavs are ONLY 9-7 on the road in 2009. Cleveland's win at San Antonio the other day was not really impressive knowing that Duncan and Ginobili weren't playing. Atlanta is healthy and finally playing consecutive home games. Their defense limited Wade to 21 points the other day and Miami had only 53 points after three quarters of play. In their last game against Cleveland (W, 97-92) they never trailed by more than 3 even thaugh Williams and James had 59 points combined.
