He is a minority in baseball circles, meaning he will get fired about 2 years after he should (see Dusty Baker and Frank Robinson). If he ever gets fired, he will be at the top of every token interview list.

Thing thing i don't get about Ozzie is that he was always a loose cannon. Even the year they won it all...but i guess not much was said about then when they were winning. Now that the ChiSox blow...Ozzie being a loose cannon is all of a sudden detrimental to the team.

I'm sure Ozzie Guillen is worried about saving face. Give me a break, if the White Sox wanted him out - they won't - he would say "Fuck you" and wouldn't even think about resigning.

You think he will ever get another job again, or has he worn out his welcome with everyone.?

Terrible bet Chop... Ozzie is Kenny's manager... As long as Kenny is the GM in the Chicago Ozzie will be the manager unless he quits...

Kenny backs Ozzie and loves his fire... He will trade every player away before firing Guillen and he has made that quiet clear. He defended Ozzie's radio tirade By basically saying that Mike North was pushing Ozzie and he understands him and Ozzie are the same way...

Chop this bet is an automatic loss...

Kenny Hired Ozzie when he got here and said he would be there until the end unless he wanted to leave

Agreed...

This is a dumb F'N thread...

Reinsdorf loves Ozzie...

Williams loves Ozzie...

He led them to a WS Championship...and that Ring means more to Jerry than any of those Bulls' rings...

IMO...Ozzie is there, until HE no longer wants to be there.

He will never manage again. His managing style is obsolete. Further, he has shown an amazing inability to adapt to the personnel of his teams. Throw in the volatile personality and complete lack of tact in media relations and he is gone.

Being all the way down in Alabama it shows how much you know about Ozzie and the Chicago media. There's only one guy in the Chicago media that Ozzie doesn't get along with, take a WILD guess. It's the same guy that EVERYONE else hates. Jay Moronotti. Everyone else LOVES him and his honesty. The beat writers, the columnists, the radio guys, all of them. He will even mend things w/ Mike North and that BS will be over. North is a douchebag anyway, who cares, he'll be out of Chicago very soon. Ozzie does say stupid things once in a while but his players love to play for him. Johan Santana, Carlos Zambrano, and many others have hinted at how they'd love to play for a manager like Ozzie. Why? Because he will tell you like it is whether you like it or not. Just sucks that PC pussies like some of you can't handle how brutally honest he can be.
