When will you guys learn? Your probably the same dude who said Manning will never win 1 cause he isn't clutch, Dirk is too soft, Kobe isn't good enough without Shaq, Packers are screwed for letting Favre go.

Vick is an elite athlete playing on a good team with a coach/ownership that always seems to compete, so yeah I'd say his chances to win are pretty good.

I've never said any of those things.

How many "elite athletes" playing the QB position have won the Super Bowl? Vick is 31 years old and has won 2 play-off games his entire career, and you've got him hoisting the Lombardi Trophy?

LOL

Look how he became less and less effective as the season progressed last year. I wouldn't be surprised if Young sees the field a lot toward the end of the year.

Still no love for the Saints I see.
Saints should be the NFC favorite.
Addressed all our weaknesses this season.

this is just building up like the MIAMI HEAT IN THE NBA.adding all this top talent and looking like top notch in the league.don't be surprised if the EAGLES make a repeat preformance of the HEAT.

Ummmmm. So the Eagles will be tied @ halftime of the Super Bowl?

I think most Philly fans would take that.

Not sure where I said I had Phi winning the superbowl, just saying the usual "this guy will never win" stuff is stupid.

Eagles have an excellent chance to win it all this year. If you don't think so then you should fade them every week considering they will be ranked as a top 3 NFC team.

Your comment about Young seeing the field is laughable, barring injury that obviously won't happen. Vick kill your dog or something? Young starting over Vick, lol.

Eagles made big upgrades on defense. What exactly did the Giants do? Drop half the line and pick up the 49ers center. Actually that might end up being a blessing. The more Mannining gets sacked the less INT's he throws. Eli is like Danny Devito from the movie Twins. He's the leftover afterbirth after all the good stuff went to his superhuman brother. Then you have fumble 1 (Bradshaw) and fumble 2 (Jacobs). This offense is a turnover waiting to happen. The defense is nasty but there is only so many mistakes it can overcome for the O. Then add in that Coughlin just signed an extension. The noose just loosed a little. He does his best coaching when the rope is taut.

I'll still take the Giants to win the NFC East.

When was the last time the Giants beat the Eagles?

All I know is that the Eagles contend every year since Reid has been in Philly...that's all a fan can ask...

That being said, this is the first time I actually bet the Eagles to win the Superbowl in a long time....

Asomugha can't shut down Jennings, Jones, Nelson, Driver, Cobb, Finley, Quarless, and DJ Williams by himself

The NFL is the ultimate team sport - one CB cannot stop a deep WR/TE corps

Its the Packs year again imo. Won with key elements missing on IR and those guys are back healthy. Burnett will play before Peprah and no one will stop Finley, He will change the TE position for ever if healthy. Running game vastly improved and only marginal weakness might be Dline. If Rodgers stays healthy this team will be very hard to beat. Only glaring weakness from last year was return game and Cobb looks to be a considerable upgrade. Too many weapons and an outstanding defense. Philly will not go all the way with Ried and Vick at the helm, just not enough. Only way to beat the Pack is to get to Rodgers consistently and dont see that happening with his awareness and wheels. 6/1 is a steal.

My God, the Packers led from the first drive and dominated the Eagles in Philly in the playoffs. That's all you need to know. Philadelphia scared the shit out of Favre. Philly are the Packers' bitches now.

Interesting that the Eagles defensive coordinator, Juan Castillo, was their OL coach last year. That explains quite a bit and what was Reid thinking?
