After 8 years of watching Barry and finding nothing to say, he comes out speaking about he travel ban and in a negative light of Trump? Come on man. Trump literally has all these people of power and influence pitted against him. If people don't see this as a positive for supporting Trump I don't know what is. This President threatens and scares the shut of the status quo and ruling elite. Keep on keeping on #MAGA

Just watched it. He is a difficult man to dislike. I admire him. I also believe he went out of his way to avoid criticising Trump.

trump doesn't care about being liked he cares about winning. period. if he really wanted to be liked he would have never run for potus. every account i have read says he has a very strong love for his country. almost at the expense of being able to run a federal government without burning it to the ground. all those people on oooo and anon all have said this. liberals are pissed because the leaks don't have anything on him and their default is "well trump is in league with russia and russia is feeding anon, wikileaks and oooo. it's either that or he's a threat to the establishment. if you don't understand the global consolidation of power amongst elites you will never truly understand trump.

my comment has nothing to do with global elites or love of country. it's only about his desire to be liked. a guy that doesn't care about being liked isn't pounding away on twitter at 2 am because some actress slighted him. he also can't stand the idea of losing the popular vote. he has an intense desire to be liked.

I disagree. He didn't do it in a manner where he could be accused of doing so but if you listen to him he doesn't agree with Trump. I thought it was strange considering he never said shit about Berry. You don't find that odd?

Spot on, Scott.

I have always felt that Bush was a humble, caring, unselfish man. Much different than the two narcissists who succeeded him. That interview only reinforced those feelings.

What I didn't know was how artistically talented he was. I hope he sells 10 million books for those vets.

Mantis, if he cared about being liked he would take the high road. It proves my point he is worried about winning. He wants the last word. He wants to be right. He wants to say you're FIRED. This is about ego. A man this egotistical and powerful doesn't do this stuff to be liked he does it because he is wired this way.

I think he came out to sell his book to support the vets with the proceeds. Barry never made it into the interview. I'm sure Bush would have never discussed Trump either directly or indirectly had he not been there to sell his book for the vets. And I did think he held back from painting Trump in a negative light. He basically excused him with the cover comment that the times have changed dramatically since his Presidency.

It doesn't prove your point at all, but more importantly, why does he care about winning the popular vote? Why make unsubstantiated claims about voter fraud that make you look like a stooge? Why die on that hill if you don't care if you're liked? This dude is as insecure as it gets.

It's also pretty funny to see this painted as some sort of harsh criticism from W. He was about as soft on Trump as he could be.

google "Bush Trump" the media is portraying a different viewpoint then yours or Scott's. I didn't taste for many of Ws policies but I did care for him as a person, I thought he was too nice hence his post was hijacked from him imo. But that doesn't excuse him for commenting on Trump. He didn't vote for him either. I think it's unfortunate.

Same thing is true about the inauguration crowd. Who gives a shit? It doesn't matter whether 10 people or 10,000,000 people show up, he's still POTUS.

He went out of his way to not say anything about Obama who had all kinds of skeletons and controversy around him. That was the point

Ah yeah dude thats not about be liked it's about his ego. You could point to all kinds of examples of this it doesn't change the fact that's about his pettiness about winning on EVERYTHING. I don't agree with it and I have been on record here numerous times say this. So don't get that or your notion of being liked twisted
