WOW. I don't know a DAMN THINGS about Australian Rules Football, but I just listened to the best game I have ever heard over the internet. I put my entire account on the Kangaroos -300 or so. They were down by one point with 30 seconds left and apparently made some miracle finish. I don't get it all, but a goal was made with 8 seconds left.

The announcers are going C-R-A-Z-Y!

Finally some luck my way...

Congrats on your win Bro!

I listened to the game myself, what happened was Carlton was judged to have kicked the ball out on the full(which was a really harsh call in the context of the game) anyways free kick Kangaroos. Kangaroos kicked to an open man in Daniel Wells who had a set shot from over 50m away. Miss they more then likely draw and in crunch time he delivered

kicking the goal to seal the win. Good hit man, you got to love it when these type of things roll your way, also smart playing the ml on the Roos cause that line was inflated too much lol

Where can you listen to Aussie Football online?

I'll admit that I don't know much about the sport but find myself betting a little on AFL games in the middle of the night. (see Gamblers Anonymous thread

Thanks for the explanation Shiny. I admit I understood nothing of what you just said.

I am 14-1 with my AFL bets, including tonight's win with the Saints. Blind luck I imagine though, as I don't get the game completely.

As for listening on the net Tanaka, you can get live scores and also live radio at www.afl.com.au

It's an exciting game to listen to.

Good luck.

Doesn't know a thing about football yet put his whole account on it. Either youre lying or have some serious gambling problems. I dont think youre that stupid you seem fairly intelligent, so lying it is.

Ah thanks! I've just been using Yahoo for scores and that seemed horribly slow.
I was on St Kilda -18.5, looks like a nice winner. ..wish I had more $$ on it!

Hmmm. Uh, well I'm not lying, so I guess we'll file it under stupid. Not that I need to explain anything to you, but I had a bad day earlier, dropping from $2K down to $600 from some bad baseball beats. I wanted to "steal" a bit back IMO, and picked a heavy favorite on the ML. AFL was the only thing left late at night. I don't know very much about the AFL, but I have been having great success betting big ML's in the AFL. I took the Roos $628.01 to win $201.29 at -312. Stupid? Maybe. I just assumed that heavy lumber wouldn't likely lose and I could pick up some easy cash to help my low account total going into the next baseball day.

No need to come off like that, but thanks for the post.

No worries Bro, just follow St Kilda at home in the Telstra Dome they win 90% of their games there. They will be nice odds away from home as well and worth a smaller type wager.

The Saints are the Real Deal this year but the key is their two ruckman and how well they can maintain their form. The ruckman are the linkmen all around the ground to the runners of which the Saints have plenty!

It's not the easiest game to listen to, if you can view a game of tv that would be kool. Even better is an actual game live. The game just wasn't made for tv, so much happens off the ball and it's a great spectacle. I hope to go to the AFL grand final this year.
