Looking at main events there are two dog picks i like

Renato Sobral (-275) vs Mike Whitehead (+215)

and

Andrei Arlovski vs Ben Rothwell

Odds for the Arlovski fight are not out but i would imagine he would be a large favorite

I don't see sense in making previews, especially month before the event. Always there are some changes on the fightcard etc... I always put my bets just after weigh ins

yes but for dogs u usually get bettter odds

there is an advantage to waiting right before the fight b/c your privy to more info by then. but mma lines are so volitile. cris usually opens the line and w/in 30 min you have heavy movements. so if your fairly sure you will be on the sharp side you can get a great # and if anything changes get a good buy back oppurtunity. i find it essential to mma betting to have atleast 3 accounts, i like bookmaker or cris, 5dimes and bodog. lines vary greatly, especially early.

also whitehead will be a bigger dog before the fight goes off. personally i could not bet on someone who is gonna have to cut the weight he will but the public will bet babalu so if you are going to advocate backing whitehead it should not be done early.
