Texas shelled Keuchel in his biggest start of the year recently in Arlington. Agree Yankes are more lefty dominant. Astros are a free swinging team and can be handled if Tanaka is right. Tough call and not a game to go large on IMO but good luck.

I'm thinking Pitt s/u too, is that nuts given the way Arrieta is pitching? I just have this feeling that a young Cubbies team let's them down.

14-6 straight

4-4 parlay

+109.9 units

Pirates Cubs
When you have two hot teams with two hot pitchers and a bunch of hot hitters on each team, it really only comes down to who has the biggest advantage. And clearly the biggest advantage tonight is Pittsburgh's home field advantage. Everybody remembers few years back when Cueto was unhittable coming into the wild card and that absolutely INSANE pirates crowd rattled him so bad he couldn't even catch the ball coming back from the catcher. Pittsburgh is going to be buzzing tonight, Gerrit Cole is going to be tossing 100 on his fastball from the juice, and the Pirates will get to Arrieta.

Pirates +125 20 units to win 25

Pirates/Cubs over 5.5 10 units to win 8.7

PARLAY BOTH 5 units to win 16

The playoff are a WHOOOLE different monster than the regular season. Arrieta is about to find that out. Pirates played wildcard each of the last 2 years, they know what to expect, they will play a sound game. I'm not discrediting Arrieta's run, it's historical stuff. But if you gave me the choice of who to move forward with for my franchise, Cole or Arrieta, I'd take Cole everyday of the week and twice on sundays.

Good luck all, it's going to be a fun game to watch!

I'm a die hard Sox fan.....my closeset friends are die hard Cubs fans. I'm not a Cubs hater by any means, but we have our friendly jaws about both teams. I am jealous that my White Sox can't do the type of work the Cubs are doing right now.

Good luck tonight with whatever you are on....

Well here I go again, being the one out on a limb, where everyone says NOOOO how could you possibly pick that team! But I like the Rangers today, and i'll tell you why.

1) David Price historically has been absolutely awful in the post season.

In 40 innings pitched he has given up 40 hits! 22 ER! and 9 BB. Right around a 5.0 ERA. It's been tough. In 2010 he faced the Rangers twice at home giving up 9 hits and 5 ER the first time, and second 8 hits and 3 ER. In 2011 he faced the rangers again at home giving up 7 hits and 3 ER in 5 innings. Now I know this was 4 years ago, but that's still in the back of his head. David Price's team record in post season when getting the start 0-5!.

2) Yovani Gallardo
In 15 innings pitched this year against Texas, he has given up 1 ER. He has dominated them. Not saying it will happen today, but I like his chances to keep this one close. Last time Gallardo pitched in Toronto, 8.1 shut out innings.

3) I always tend to like the teams that had to earn it coming down the stretch. I'll give the nod to texas to shock the world.

10 units Texas +195 to win 19.5

10 units Texas/TOR over 7.5 to win 9.1

5 unit PARLAY both to win 23 units

Back with late game in a bit, still need more studying.

Texas vs. Toronto

Last year when Hamels faced the lefty killing Blue Jays, he gave up 10 hits5 ER an 2 Homers. Bautista and Encarnacion combined for 5 hits a homer and a double. Last time Tulo saw Hamels (This year) he was 4-4 with 2 HR! This is a deep Toronto line up. They will get to Hamels, and pound him pretty Hard today

Toronto -180 10 units to win 5.55

Toronto -1.5 10 units to win 10.5

Does anyone know if they will be using the retractable roof today?
