Well, I agree with you Mr. Gil. Diego is fighting with purpose and focus, not to mention
serious intensity. This is a terrific matchup.
I am waiting for the other shops to hang up numbers as WSEX isn't always the best place to
shop. It is sometimes though. I think 50 cents
on Chico is a bit stiff. I think some shops may even make "Popo" the fav. I am holding off due to the price, but my play is Chico.

When is this!!!!!!!

I would take Freitas. Corrales beat Casamayor and that's been it. Every other big fight he gets outclassed.

Who the hell has Acelino Freitas beat? He almost lost to Joel Casamayor, and would have if Joel didn't lose a point for a low blow. Freitas hasn't looked good in his last three fights. He was very close to losing to Jorge Rodrigo Barrios - and I know for a fact that Diego Corrales would destroy Barrios.

Anyway... action has Diego Corales now at -130

one thing that worries me....freitas really can punch.....if a defensive casamayor staggered corrales time and again, then chico will have to be very careful...

a very good fight....

First of all alot of these books put up lines on fights that are nowhere near being official and never materialize. Last I heard, the networks dont want to pay the money that both sides want for the fight and the fights not close to being done.

But if the fight did happen I would make a decent size play on Freitas. I think Freitas is seriously beatable and that Morales or pretty much any top world class fighter could give him a boxing lesson. He's an overrated fighter who was DAMN close to getting beat against a no name from Argentina. He's not that great a boxer. I dont see him setting up fighters the way a world class fighter does.

But like Spinch says, he can punch. And I dont think Corrales could take his punch. Freitas also has some heart - I think he has more than Corrales has. But to simply put it - Corrales couldnt take his punch. Freitas would drop him like a first period chem class.

It might take a few rounds but once he catches him I think Corrales would be walking like me on New Years Eve.

I with you on freitas. maybe Corrales hits a little bit harder but Freitas has a decent chin and Corrales has not, you can knock him down but he recovers very fast and he moves better than Corrales and has fast hands.
No play just first opinion.
