so it looks like RickA has a whole lot of faith in the Vikings today. Very hard game to call...but I have to say ....GO COWBOYS !!!!

Ive never once checked out sportsoptions ....I think Im gonna see what they are about today. It is interesting to see a contest that is geared towards the juice. I like it ....definitely a good lesson for many.

Okay, getting down to the nitty-gritty in the playoffs now. After viewing all the games I have some opinions but not a whole lot of facts to support them, just general observations from watching the games.

Colts(-7.5) vs. Jets ...O/U is 41 The Colts just played a team that is very similar to the Jets in the Baltimore Ravens last Saturday. Good defense and a good running team with a young QB. We all saw the results and I expect to see the same against the Jets. This will be the Jets 3rd road game in the playoffs as well. The Jets are in a win/win situation so if they lose they have nothing to be a shamed of. The Colts want to win the Super Bowl after bowing out of the winning streak in order to rest for the playoffs. Peyton Manning is the best QB in the league (IMO) and he's hungry for another Super Bowl. I can't see a rookie QB going into Indy and beating Manning in the AFC Championship game.
My pick is the Colts to cover.

Saints(-4) vs. Vikings....O/U is 53. The Saints are a scoring machine especially in the Superdome. Minnesota has proven to be vulnerable on the road and will have to deal with that hostile crowd in New Orleans. I watched and listened to Brett Favre after the Cowboys game and he was quite emotional and looked drained from the inner stress he's been dealing with on this whole season. Not putting a lot of stock in this but the guy is 40 years old and has to be feeling the effects of a long season. Peterson doesn't seem to be the same player he was earlier in the season as well. Very, very surprised the line is this low and expect it to keep rising during the week. Wouldn't it be great to see the Saints win a Super Bowl? After what that city has gone through they certainly deserve some good luck!
My pick is the Saints to cover and win the Super Bowl against the Colts!

ensuring you have a few outs funded and using a service such as SportsOptions will for sure save you tons of moullah. Much more than the cost of the service itself even for a $50 to $100 bettor.

on a scale of 1-10 ...obviously you would grade your service a "10 " for the NFL.

what about the WNBA ? Most of the big guys are laying low during this time and not a whole lot of action on the ladies...does your group dedicate a "10" to the WNBA as well ? I understand supply demand very well ...so ..if ya dont ...I understand . ......your service could be extremely profitable if it were dedicated to this league as well.....I know that I have a lot of tools for them but still am light years behind the breaking news sometimes....

Just curious where you guys stand on the Ladies .

Im gonna roll With Allan Eastman aka ACE.... been watching him for years now. He's as consistant as they come IMO. Never seen the guy chase, use great money management and attack like a shark wehn he needs to and its in his advantage and regressses when its not, something most cappers do the complete opposite of. Besides, have to give some home town Love :dancefool

Sorry I missed this.

On the WNBA, we are a 10 on injuries, lineups, scores and lines. We don't have as many stats for the WNBA as other sports, but we do offer more than most sites, I would say we are a 7 in that area.

I took Sports Options free week and would like to know from those who use this on a regular basis what is the best way to take advantage of this information. Is there an advantage to comparing the line to the computer and if so what variance is needed for a solid wager? Are the key move alerts worth noting and if so how do you bet them? Is there any difference in this information than what you get free at SBR? Also am able to view Sportsbook Spy and Bet Tracker for free that gives similar information.

On Sports Option is there a way to tell how many bets are being counted for their public percentages? How accurate are their computer lines? Has anyone devised a system using the information provided to generate a consistent profit with the information provided? I have been using SBR, Bet Tracker from Sportsinsights and Sports Spybook from Pregame. Is there an advantage with Sports Options to justify paying for their information?

Sorry I did not get to this sooner. I think I can answer all of your questions:

Computer numbers: Because we just started posting these number this football season, we do not have a lot of historical data. From speaking with customers, the consensus is that a 2 point difference on sides and 3 points on totals seems to be where the value comes in.

Key Move alerts: You can get an idea of how the Key Move alerts are doing by looking at the Steam Plays (there is a button on the tool bar for these) because steam plays are basically Key Moves. It is not exact, but close enough for you to compare. In general, if you can get down on the number of a Key Move, you have an advantage.

Public Percentages: We do not have bet count, but I can tell you that we have a very large sampling for this information. In addition to 5Dimes, we have feeds from some of the largest sportsbooks in the world.

As for the advantages over the other services that you listed, here are some examples of what SportsOptions gives you that the others do not:

Speed: Even our Standard version is overall faster than the free services.
Accuracy: Our information is used by the largest sports bettors and sportsbooks in the world, so you know our information is reliable.
