Accounting / Customer Service Person Required

MercadoNet has an immediate opening for an experienced person in the field of Accounting with strong Customer Service abilities. This is a full-time position based in San Jose, Costa Rica.

The following skill sets are required:

full command of the English language (speaking/writing)
experience with accounting principles and standard accounting practices
computer literate and well versed with Excel, packaged accounting systems and producing reports
knowledge of banking instruments and operating procedures
ability to monitor/reconcile transactions and prepare statements
strong customer service abilities (phone, email, chat, person to person)

The qualified candidate must conduct themselves professionally and possess a positive attitude. At least 2 references from past employers must be provided. Salary will be commensurate to the applicants level of experience, qualifications and local market conditions.

Any idea roughly ??? local market conditions= you hire the lowest contractor.

Last time I was considered for a position like this, I came with glowing references and actually seriously considered the move down there. The guy offers me the job and almost fell off the chair hearing what he offered in salary. Lets just say it might have been market rate, but some of us would rather not take the bus everywhere we go either.
