I like Wake....just hope they can keep it going tomorrow after a huge win last time out.

Not sold on the Richmond bet....think I may be on the other side if I play it.

QUestion.... what do you think the line will be for the Clemson Wake game Saturday.... big Clemson fan here, and obviously you know your ACC... just wondering what you are thinking on this one.

I think that line will vary depending on what happens with wake tomorrow. A solid win by Wake and its probably a pick'em. If Wake struggles and barely wins/loses then Clemson is probably laying 3 or maybe 3'. Either way I think that the tigers are the right side and I will be backing them. I like your team alot and they are going to be dangerous in littlejohn.

VT is just not very good. Richmond is a very gutsy team and their is something very unstable about these hokies. I wouldnt trust them to cover any line as a favorite of more than 2 possessions until they really prove they can do so. To me Richmond is a live dog.

Yeah, I had it probably around a pk. Of course, you're right regarding it will depend on tomorrow night, but I really think Wake handles them fairly easily... don't think it will be a complete blowout, but don't think they have much trouble covering...

Will look into this Richmond/VT game a little more...will probably be a no play for me, but thanks for your insight.

I didn't play Tech, but I hope you win SU. They were the first team I followed in my life in any sport (Tech Basketball) back in the 80's with Price and Sally. Now they have Gani Lawal (Norcross High, which I live very close too and grew up near it). There is another star freshman from Wake (Aminu) also from Norcross high. This does not even include Meeks from Kentucky who put up 54 last night who is also from Norcross High. I've seen mock drafts and they have Aminu from Wake and Lawal from Tech as lottery picks. That would be crazy to have two lottery players from the same high school.

*Wake Forest Deamon Deacons -3.5

This play screams bad spot to me, so I will play it small, but I really gotta take the much better team that is gelling right now. You could argue that Wake crashes after the big win over carolina, but I think that comes in the next game. There is too much talent for Wake and too much depth for them to lose this game. BC can beat you if they get hot shooting but I think the fast play from Wake is going to cause BC to struggle to get into rythym all game. Still BC is playing to save their season so its wise to be cautious betting this one. Wake by 7.

*** Richmond Spiders +8

Think this is a very average VT team that has a hard time playing 40 minutes. That is very bad news when Richmond rolls into town, as the spiders play very disciplined and make you earn all of your points. In this matchup I think 8 points is a gift and I see a very good chance at an outright victory.

*** Maryland Terripins +8.5

Think this is a pretty even matchup; maryland is quietly putting together a very nice season (morgan state game excluded) and should give an underachieving miami team all that it wants in this one. Too many points...

**Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets +11.5

Think this is a game that GT can play very competitively. Duke is able to force alot of turnovers with their perimeter D but GT doesn't like to keep the ball on the perimiter. They have a definite advantage in the paint and I look for them to pound the ball their all night. GT is 0-2 in conference but they are a very athletic team, and they get reliable scoring from 6 players. I like the matchup of Lawai against this Duke interior; in the past few years Duke has had a tendency to give up big games to strong post players and I think we could see another one tonight.

On defense I like the pressure that the Jackets generate, forcing 16 TO's a game while holding opponents under 40 % for the season.

I think Duke is for real but their form in the last few games has slipped and this is a bit of a big number to ask them to cover on the road.

I agree it scares me a little. I had the line @ 5 so I am playing it small mainly for a little value and because I think they win this one more often than not. I really hope they win to set up a very big play for me on Clemson saturday. If the deacs don't lose tonight they WILL lose that game.
