39-31-- +9.9 units

*** Virginia Cavaliers + 8.5 1H

* Virginia Cavaliers +15.5

Virginia has played within this number all season (including games against Xavier, @ Syracuse and @ Minnesota) and I just still feel that we are getting some good value going against Carolina. UNC has shown to be vulnerable to quick guards, and I think UVA's young Landesburg fits the bill, averaging 18.5 ppg and proving to be a sufficient replacement for Sean Singletary. I think UVA should be able to hang tough in the first half before UNC's superior depth helps them pull away. I had the line @ 12 so I will have a small play on the Cavs for the game. BOL everyone lets hit this!

okay getting a little trigger shy here, I dont feel I should have 4 units on one side in this game. I'm buying back the Virginia game play and sticking with the 1st half one. Its not that I dont like the play, I am just trying to control my risk here...

Also, I really like the under in this game so I am going to take it. I see the Heels putting alot more emphasis on defense and for that to work they are going to have to slow down a bit. Hopefully Liato realizes its his his best interest to slow it down as well. These two teams play quickly paced so it shouldnt slow down too much but I dont see either team breaking 90 in this game.

Final Card for Thursday:
***Virginia Cavaliers +8.5 1H
** Under 164

Jimmy,

I like the under 164 too. It is down to 163 now but UNC usually struggles at UVA. UNC takes the bus up to Charlottesville and seems to enter a "twilight zone" when playing vs. the Cavaliers. Here are the UNC scores at UVA:

75-74 (149)
72-68 (140)
110-76 (186) This was 2005 when UNC won the title.
74-72 (146)

UVA has some young guards who have very little experience vs. UNC and may get in a run and gun game but then UVA will have no chance to keep it close.

If UNC is comfortabley ahead we won't see the late foul shots to add to the total. And if UNC is way ahead we will see the walk ons (Tanner, Moody, Wooten) and Watts and they don't score much.

Easy winner on the under!

nice hit Dr. T. that was definately the right side on this game for us.

Virginia wasnt the right side tonite as the good carolina showed up but the blowout brought this game under. When are teams with less talent going to learn to not try and run with Carolina? You play right into their hands this way and you really limit your chances to compete.
