53-44-3 +2.1 units

Units have sucked so far this year but been on a nice 10-2 run since last sunday. Lets keep it going with..

*** Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets + 8

If you were ever going to play a team like GT against a team like Wake, to me this is a good spot to do so. Wake didn't let down against BC because they were trying to prove a point and BC was at least a respectable team, but after the huge tight win against Duke followed by a road trip to conference laughing stock GT, a bit of easing off the gas pedal is expected, even if the coaches stress how it could happen.

One thing the Jackets have shown is that they are good at losing close games. Three of their conference losses have been in OT and they played
Duke very tightly until a late game spurt put the game away. Both of these teams like to get close to the basket and I like the rebounding ability and inside presence of these Jackets. Wake should win but I get the feeling that the Wreck puts a scare into them today. Wake by 4

BOL everyone today have a few more on the way....

Thanks G, looking forward to your plays today as you have been looking real good lately..

** North Carolina State Wolfpack +15

Pretty much a spot play for me. Double digit points for a home dog in a rivalry game where the dog has shown to be capable of playing good teams close. State has only missed this number 1 time all year, and that was @ duke where a very close game got away from them at the very very end. Heels are the much better team but I see state playing them just close enough to lose. Heels pull away late and win by 11..

cocktail, no real strong feeling on the total but I lean towards the under. If GT is to cover this can't be a shootout. I think GT is going to trend towards ball control and the fact that neither team likes shooting the 3 ball lends itself to a lower scoring game.

Thanks GD, get hot today my man

** Virginia Tech Hokies +4

I know VT blew that game on Thursday but they showed me that they are for real. The way that they rallied after blowing the big lead showed me alot about their character and their respect for the gameplan that Greenberg has installed. Still a team that is playing some very good basketball.

BC is feeling pretty good right now, riding a 3 game winning streak since their last game against these Hokies. Those 3 wins came against three of the bottom feeders in the conference, and in 2 of those games the Eagles blew double digit leads but managed to hang on. Eagles showed nice resiliancy in coming back against Maryland but the terps are not a good basketball team and are plagued with issues that go beyond the basketball court. Just think that Hokies are the better team in this game and I will take the points in a matchup where the home team has very little HCA.

**** Miami Hurricanes pk
*** Miami/Maryland O 137.5

On my way to the State-UNC game but wanted to go ahead and play this. quick thoughts: Maryland is in complete disarrary on the court and off, losing 4 of 5 and completely melting down against BC. Think Miami gets really nasty in the paint and completely dominates this game on the inside. Maryland just doesnt have the horses to win this game and there are too many issues surrounding this team.

Why I like the over soo much: both teams don't force alot of turnovers, allow over 39 % 3 point shooting in conference, 44 percent field goal shooting and have defensive A/TO ratios of over 1. I see alot of successful offensive sets and I have this game being played in the high 40's.

Usually like to give more stat analysis on my games but I'm pressed for time. BOL today to everyone on all their action :toast:
