***** Clemson Tigers -2

Really like this spot for the tigers. Wake has been riding high and deservedly so but this is the spot where their youth catches up with them. The Tigers have (once again) put together a very strong start to the season, and to me their big edge in this game is their high pressure defense, depth and athleticism. Statistically these are two very similar teams but I feel like this game means alot more to Clemson, as its their first chance to establish themselves as a player in the conference this year. With a game on deck in Chapel Hill, it would be very demoralizing for the Tigers to go 0-2 in this stretch, and I think Purnell will pull out all the stops to have his team very ready to play. I think this will be a very physical game, and these teams are both similar from the free throw line. I think Clemson will want this game more, and they have the horses to pull away in this one. Tigers by 10.

have a few more coming, will post them as I play them. BOL today everyone..

** Miami Hurricanes +16.5

Nice win for Carolina on thursday, but that was againt the slop of the conference. Miami is a solid team with the kind of guards that have given UNC trouble all season. They showed alot of heart coming back to beat maryland on wednesday. UNC without ginyard at 100 percent struggles to lock down the higher quality guards in this league. I look for Miami to be able to hang with the heels for most of this game as Carolina still struggles to find its identity.

BC has struggled since beating UNC, and they are really not a good team. That being said VT is pretty terrible this season, they are notorious for playing bad teams close (only +5.2 margin of victory for all games so far). BC does a great job of taking care of the ball (1.34 Assist/TO ratio) and I look for them to be able to control the tempo the entire way and come out of Blacksburg with a victory. Eagles by 4.

"The Tigers are also 1-34 against Top 5 foes over the last 12 seasons, including 17 straight losses. "

Clemson's schedule has been the biggest cupcake for a Top 10 team. While I believe it'll be a close game no way Clemson wins by 10. Clemson hasn't faced a true opponent yet and Wake will give them fits. How would you know if Clemson wants it more? LOWF is on a mission this year.

Clemson has the depth, atleticism and style to give Wake fits as well. People fall in love with a team like Wake and forget how tough this league is to win night in and night out. I don't know that Clemson wants it more; thats why they call it gambling. I just know that its a great situational play on the tigers today and I like alot of things about this matchup.

Purnell has done a great job shedding the losers mentality @ Clemson and this is his best tigers team to date. I see them @ 12-4, 13-3 in conference this season. I expect about the same from wake...

Like the otherside here, with 2 average teams. Like VT at home.

BOL.

**North Carolina State Wolfpack -5

Wolfpack the better team here, they lose when you can pressure their guards into turning the ball over but I don't think GT is capable of applying the pressure necessary to make it happen State will take a close game @ halftime and pull away as GT bricks away their free throws down the stretch. GT doesnt have enough depth for this game..

*** Florida State Seminoles -3.5

Florida State is the better team @ home. Maryland thrives when Vasquez has a matchup advantage but I really like the D that Tony Douglas plays and I look for him to shut down Vasquez which will hinder the Terps ability to get out and run. Noles by 8.
