They both put out the best AC/DC albums ever...IMO

Highway to Hell is the sixth studio album by Australian hard rock band AC/DC, released in August 1979. It is also AC/DC's fifth international studio album. It was the last album featuring Bon Scott, who died early the following year from over-consumption of alcohol

Back in Black is an album by Australian hard rock band AC/DC. It is the seventh Australian and sixth internationally released studio album by the band.
Released on 25 July 1980, Back in Black was the first AC/DC album recorded without former lead singer Bon Scott, who died on 19 February 1980 at the age of 33, and was dedicated to him. The band considered disbanding following Scott's death, but they ultimately decided to continue, with encouragement from Scott's parents, and shortly thereafter hired Brian Johnson as their new lead singer and lyricist

For me it's Bon Scott...that raspy voice and early AC/DC is better than the latter

The AC/DC I can see being close. Not a lot of difference in the music with the two singers. Van Halen went a different direction with Sammy, and was far more successful sales-wise.

I had no problem with Van Halen and DLR pre 1984.

I hated Black Ice.

Loved all the others though.
I think Walmart forced them to tone it down some.
Which is pretty sad when you think about it.

A live AC/DC show was the rockingest damn thing I ever saw. I knew a guy who was head banging so hard he fell down the steps and broke his leg and had to miss most of the show.

I saw AC/DC in the Rose Garden , Portland Oregon , 1991 ... During the Thunderstruck tour , to this day I have never done more drugs for any one single concert, at that show, i was on two and half hits of ACID , drank about 18 beers in the parking lot before the show , smoked about an 1/8th in the show, and snuck an 8ball into the show , which i did over the course of the event, Fukking AWESOME !!!!!

COO COO COO

Still have the Dollar bill with Angus's face on it lameneted and saved ! One of my favorite bands ever , High Voltage, Dirty Deeds and Powerage were staples of mine in Highschool , dont leave home without em . In Angus we trust !!
