What else do you want from them? I have to say Doc Rivers is an acquired taste, but at least Walton Sr. is sitting in the stands and not in the press box with Al.

Speaking of coverage for the bettors, could there be a better team than what they have now? I had to listen on radio for part of Game 1 and I think I heard Musberger say "8 point underdogs" at least 3 times. Michaels may not say it that much, but if the game comes down to a spread deciding shot we are sure to hear something subtle about it...

the fact stuart scott - the #1 reason the MUTE button and remote control was invented because once you see him on the air you want to change the channel ASAP - is on the coverage automatically makes it terrible.

I dont' mind him as much as Michaels. But then again I'm prejudiced.

Way better than CBC hockey announcers Bob Cole and Harry Neale.

Al Michaels should stick to baseball, he is 20 years past his prime. Doc Rivers is the absolute worst, and is a Laker homer. I noticed Abc NEVER showed replays when the Psitons were getting screwed by the refs.

I would suggest some music while watching to detract some of the boredom. I know the pain.

I have watched parts of both games, not the entire game. But whenever I have watched, the sound has been asynchronous with the picture! Has anyone else noticed this, or is it just my TV?

I could complain but I think overall any broadcast that doesn't include Bill Walton is simply head and shoulders above one that does. The only weak link here is Al Michaels who doesn't seem too engaged by the game itself. I really don't have a problem with the coverage, I think it's as good or better than what TNT does or what NBC did last year.

For my money, Jim Grey is the biggest piece of SH!T ever on the tube.

Not enough time to even start to explain what a joke he is!!

Everything would be fine if they would rid of Stuart Scott. In my opinion it used to be a tossup of who way more annoying on ESPN, Stuart or Sterling Sharpe. Got rid of Sharpe, now if they would only do the same with Scott....

The rack in the back might be Phil's main squeeze Jeannie Buss the Lakers' executive vice president of business operations, and daughter of team owner Jerry Buss.

The Zen Master with Jeannie in background.

btw. Jeannie says she is 95% sure Phil will be back with the Lakers next year.

You had to love when they explained what "a foul to give" meant. I thought I knew what it was up to that point. Apparently I should take a class.
