No matter how much the left poo's the thought that women will come out in strong support for Sarah Palin, they avoid the suggestion that many women will vote for McCain to see that feminine barrier disolved.

A woman elected to the White House is an important step in seeing the glass ceiling broken and gone from institutional America.

It's about time!

you can say the same thing about obama being the first black.

and if you were right about that then hillary wouldve won her nomination

I agree that the glass cailing will crack either way - but that wasn't my point.

The moonbats are trying to say that women who were for Hillary won't vote McCain because of Palin - I'm merely pointing out the falacies in their argument.

Just as 95% of blacks are voting for Obama - because he is black - you can expect a growing number of women to vote for the McCain ticket because of Palin.

I wonder how many girls born in the next few months will be named Sarah, Bristol, Willow or Piper?

so according to your logic then hillary shouldve won the nod.

you also forget that something like 80 percent plus of blacks have always voted democrat. obama being black will get him more votes, but the black vote has always been overwhelmingly democrat.

i think hillary people will vote democrat. moderate women in the middle i dont know. they might like a female on the ticket, might not like the idea of being taken advantage of to get a vote. ill still maintain the only reason why mccain picked a woman is because he knew he had little chance and believes picking a woman essentially forces woman to conform to him.
