Facts of Life was F-ing sweet too. When I was 6.

Throw some Silver Spoons and Family Ties in and we are good to go.

Jake, I can't believe you are even old enough to remember ALF.

This is an 80's fad.

Hey I was born in '83. It's not my fault I look like I'm 18.

I will fess up, two of my favorites as a youngster were The Adventures of Superman (with the late George Reeves as The Man of Steel and Clark Kent) and Have Gun Will Travel (aka Paladin) starring the late Richard Boone as Wire Paladin.

hgwt_card.gif

All Paladin fans knew the shows theme song by heart if I recall.

"Ballad of Paladin"
Performed by Johnny Western.

Have Gun Will Travel reads the card of a man.
A knight without armor in a savage land.
His fast gun for hire head's the calling wind.
A soldier of fotune is the man called Paladin.

Paladin, Paladin Where do you roam?
Paladin, Paladin, Far, far from home.

He travels on to wherever he must;
A chess knight of silver is his badge of trust.
There are campfire legends that the plainsmen spin
Of the man with the gun,
of the man called Pa-l-l-l-l-a-din

Ah the memories of a mispent TV addicted childhood.

Hah! Willie!

I loved Alf. It was hilarious.

I'll never forget when they had that "return to Alf" show a couple years after the show ended. My nephew and niece loved it. Alf was being interviewed by this lesbian-looking lady from the Air Force and Alf asked her "how's that don't-ask, don't-tell policy working out for you?"

:):)

Their undisputed masterpiece is "Hip to be Square.
