A Teacher Of 30+ Years At Our Local High School Snapped & Punched A Student The Other Day

Teacher has been there 30+ years, and the story is the kid repeatedly kept calling the teacher a liar about something.

The teacher asked him time & time again to please stop as he was trying to continue with speaking to the class, but this kid kept on & on & on saying "You're a liar" ........ "liar".........etc, etc, etc.......

Teacher finally just snapped and stormed back there to confront the kid, the kid ONCE AGAIN kept on, and the man just finally lost it & hit the boy a few times.

These kids nowadays are freaking nuts & I can see how they may push someone over the edge.

What would you guys have done?

Props to the teacher. Maybe a whole line of copycat teacher punchings will start. That's news I could welcome.

Im so sick of punk kids hiding behind bullshit laws.

Sendem to the principals office like they did me and WHIP SOME ASS.

That'll fix the little bastards.

You cannot put your hands on another person like that especially a kid.

I'm not saying I wouldn't for a lot of reasons but you have to resist temptation, take a deep breath and relax. The teacher could now be fired, lose is retirement and possibly go to jail. Not worth it in my eyes.

You are absolutely correct, but it is a lot easier to say that as an outsider look at the situation.

I mean we see people make bad decisions in anger all the time and teachers have no turned into punching bags.

I remember like it was yesterday getting dragged by the ear to the front of the line when I was acting up in 5th grade. Hurt like hell, and I sure as hell didn't spout off about it. And the last thing I'd do is tell my dad, he'd have smacked the crap out of me for acting up.

Yeah, times have changed.

Sixth grade. I turned around and punched a kid that kept calling me a cocksucker, right in class. I stayed after school and my father came looking for me because the lawn had not been mowed as ordered. The teacher was talking to me and my father stuck his head in the door and said, "Is there a problem"? The teacher replied, "Patrick got a little rambunctious today". My father smiled and said, "Don't worry teacher...I'll knock it out of him"! My teacher looked at me a bit nervously and realized that my father was serious. On the way home me and dad played soccer...I was the ball... Yeah, times have changed.

Why is he assaulting someone elses child?

If the parent did that, rest assured the child would be abducted by Child Pedophile Services (CPS). Yet this teacher will most likely keep his job.

I want to say that the assault is wrong, but my wife is a teacher and I see what she goes through and she only teaches second graders! I can only imagine what older kids are like. Every parent out there thinks they have a "precious little snowflake" that can do no wrong but don't realize what really happens at school.

Because the parents did a shitty job of teaching their kid to respect his teachers. It they had 'assaulted' him then the teacher probably wouldn't have had to.
