a suggestion to improve LIVE LINES

The Live Lines feature is a great tool. But to take it to the next level, I think you should also show the line on the underdog...it gets confusing with books using different spreads (-105, -107, -110 etc), ESPECIALLY for books that like to move the odds without moving the number (Pinnacle is the worst for this). As an example, what's a better line on the dog for the fave lines of Book A -7 +103 or Book B -6.5 -109?

This isn't a big deal now, but come baseball time (right around the corner), when books use 10cent or 20 cent lines and move off the true dimeline after a certain number which can vary by book ,this can get real confusing. When do they move off the dime line? What books are using dime line? Knowing the takeback on the dog will make it much easier to read IMO.

just a suggestion for your consideration. The dog line could be listed next to the team, with the totals listed on the same line as the date/time info...

Drunk,
We will definately show takeback for ML sports such as MLB. The only reason we do not now is real estate .. we hate to have the user scroll any further than need be acro$s to see all the books.

Thanks for the feedback

excellent...like I said, not a big deal for football since I can figure out the takeback pretty easy...

and I do agree that, especially for college sports, space it at a premium at times.

thanks lander.

I LOVE live lines!

One suggestion though: Is there anyway to move finished and or in progress games to the bottom of the screen? I would like updates of the pending games to be towards the top - if possible.

Maybe just a bit too picky, again I do really like the LIVE LINES feature - its hard to believe its FREE.

I Love Live Lines too. The only suggestion I would have would be to eliminate the scrolling if at all possible. I still say Live Lines is the best free service. It is also better than some of the pay services. Keep up the GREAT WORK!!!

Since Rio and IIs always have the same line, why not get rid of one of them and add another book like WWTS, V-Wager, or Sirbet to the feed?

Better yet, add all 3 anyway.

Ninja,
We will have take back for MLB moneylines.

I like the scrolling suggestions ... simply putting games IP or finished at the bottom should help enormously in this respect. I'll try to get this in for this weekends NCAA games. (that's the only bit where it seems to make much difference).

More books - I'll talk with our marketing guys ... it's not something that happens overnight as the books put a lot of effort into their side as well.

Excellent work Lander. Just the fact you are listening and open for suggestions is great.

Hope they happen by the Sat. date you threw out there.

A great service no matter what - and all for free too.

Hollywood sportsbook's NCAA BB lines will now be posted on the RX Live Lines.

j/k - I know Hollywood has lots of uniqueness, lots of value and lines that are softer than Ken without Viagara - so check em out

Willy has family matters to attend to.

Fortunately his family combines wedding and family reunions so he'll be back tomorrow

Here's another suggestion: When the screen refreshes, let the screen remain where it is instead of scrolling back to the top. It is quite frustrating to have to scroll back down to the games you were last viewing each time the screen refreshes, especially like on Saturday for NCAAB with 100 or so games to scroll thru.

agreed...sometimes by the time I find the game again, it is ready to refresh and I lose it...

I know this maybe a lot easier said then done, but is there a way to highlight the best dog and favorite line on a game?

I agree as well....although if you could eliminate the scrolling altogether, and just have the screen go from page to page when we want it to, that would be fantastic. Also, sometimes I have noticed that the changes in red don't stay red for too long...like maybe until the screen refreshes, and sometimes, not at all. I have missed some changes that way, and it forces me to look closely at the numbers, even if they are black.

That scrolling idea isn't feasible with the architecture in place ...

that's something that would much easier achieved with an applet or active X component, but neither of those are in the plans.

Sorry guys.

Jwunderdog,
Cool suggestion.
