I just turned down a free Van Halen ticket. ...And the sad part is that i'd really like to go , but i needed more notice. The guy called 20 mins ago and said be ready in 2 hours. Too damn old for short notice , ive got to have a plan and pace myself.

Sometimes these bands work just as hard for a small crowd as they do a big crowd and it comes off better and more intimate. This is at the outdoor venue that holds about 15k , i dont think its a hard sell-ouy , but pretty close . Kenny wayne Shepherd is the opening act. ...Should be damn good.

Ive already been doing the watering hole thing , thats my problem , cant keep on. If i had known 3 hours earlier i'd be there. ...But i was obviously 4th choice and the first 3 backed out so screw it. haha
