And your reasons Mark McGwire appears to have not taken them are?
I believe he has, he has shown the following signs:
1. Sudden change in body mass(he wasn't that large at Oakland or at USC but was massive in his later years.
2. He broke down a lot, often a telltale sign of users.
3. Had acne for quite awhile. This is also a side effect from steroid usage.
4. From what I've heard he is quite a bit smaller now than his playing days.
Andro was all a front, everyone knew McGwire put it in his locker so that the reporters would pick up on it. Look at him now, if you don't think he was on 'roids you are either completely naive or racist.
good list Rail, I disagree on a few, but pretty close in my opinion. As far as race, if ANYONE thinks Bonds is on steroids and McGwire was not, that is blatant racism or outright naivete, either way not good.
McGuire was definately on roids. He said he took andro because andro was not prohibited, although it makes you test positive for steroid usage. He had plusable deniability this way.
A lot of pitchers are on roids too, but they're getting away with it because everyone's looking at the home run hitters.
Andro was not banned at the time, and I remember I worked in the supplement industry at that time and I took andro. It is a completely different animal than comparing it to steroids. If you banned andro, you should ban creatine, then you ban red meat, it is ridicuolous how uninformed and idiotic politicians can be.
Speaking of idiotic....you sound pretty stupid yourself. If someone thinks Bonds took steroids but McGwire didn't that makes them racist? I think that may be the stupidest thing I ever heard.
sherman, go reread his post. you are acting like the idiot.
he wrote "if ANYONE thinks Bonds is on steroids and McGwire was not, that is blatant racism or outright naivete, either way not good"
did he just say racist? NO.
there can be other factors.
i'll include stupidity.
which of the 3 are you?
Mcguire unquestionably on steroids. Not so sure Manny isn't Sammy Sosa definitely is or was, and I wouldn't be surprized if Clemens is. Hard workouts go hand in hand with heavy steroid use, maximizing their effectiveness.
