with josh harrison showing that he can preform at a everyday level and playing multiple positions i believe its time to deal pedro alvarez before its too late.i think they can get someone good in return.lets face it he has like 19 errors and i think he leads the league in errors and he does not help the ball club with his bat at all,so why not deal him and put harrison at third where he has shown he can play and play well.

They could get a nice return for Alvarez. The downside is he protects McCutchen in the lineup.

where does he protect mCcutchen in the lineup? alvarez has been batting 6th or 7th cause he has done nothing to protect andrew.also when polanco came up teams have more to worry about now than andrew, but in no way has alvarez helped mCcutchen all season

This

The kid can play ball and gives it his all but I do not see him keeping this up at all. He might continue to play well this year but he will not continue his play over seasons

Keyman, these guys gave their opinion on your topic. They were respectful and cordial and you planted an IED on 'em. Just relax man.

I agree about Alvarez' defense. He's one of the worst 3rd baseman I've ever seen. He's single handedly caused the Bucs to lose several games this season. If the Bucs deal him, the pitching staff would probably throw an epic celebration party.
