I would like to get some input on the sites that offer live streaming. In the past I have seen this topic and usually people just chime in and say so and so is good, so and so is the best,etc. I am guessing all these sites have some merit and also all these sites have some drawbacks. They all have ads but worse than that I think they all try to get you to download from them, for example, your video is out of date, upgrade here,etc. First lesson is NEVER download anything from these sites, they are full of spyware, maybe even malware, and you are going to spend a lot of time cleaning up your computer. If you are getting ads popping up or asking you to take surveys,etc. you know you already have something on your computer you don't want want. If you think your flash, divx or any other program may be out of date, go to those home sites to download and check your player, do not download anything thru the streaming site. I will start off here by telling you my experiences with these sites. I used to go to firstrowsports and was pretty happy with them even though there were a lot of ads to click thru, but as time went on it seemed like none of their options worked, or were too much of a pain to get to. I should tell you that in my case I don't go to these sites very often, only if I am at work late night and want to catch an end of a game and am doing nothing else, so getting on these is not a priority in the first place. Any way about a month ago or so I clicked on a site called stream hunter and I was really impressed. The game came on easily, the picture was clear and I almost started a thread here telling everyone to try this. Lately now this same place is doing the same thing as firstrow, saying I need an update,etc., but worse it seems just by trying to click off the ad activates all their crap on your computer. Even after I find all the bad files in my programs and uninstall them, it seems that more will reappear in a day or two. There is no other explanation other than this is still part of the stuff I had already deleted as I did not go anywhere else where I possibly could have picked this stuff up. So far I have not ever gotten anything I could not get rid of, but you have to spend a lot of time and kind of know what you are doing to get your computer really clean. I hope some of you guys will come on here and honestly share what you have found about these sites, good or bad.
just install https://adblockplus.org/ and you won't get any pop ups. I have never had a problem so far. I never click on "upgrade" if the feed asks me to. In fact, most of these site tell you not to.
hmmm. all the sites work perfectly for me with adblockplus. it has blocked 226,000 pop ups so far.
