Good point mvbski. Any smart guy can smell out a smear campaign. In these forums it really isn't hard at all. say for example, I have it out for Tradewinds. Gary Austin hypothetically fu..ed my girlfriend. (This is purely hypothetical.) I am pissed off and decide I am going to hurt his business. It is really easy if the people reading these forums are ignorant. (thank god for JAZZ and rio's sake that the people here are generally smart.) so what do i do? I start a rumor that they are going broke and have slow paid several players for big money. I then call my friends who post to go in and start their own rumors. One friend says that Tradewinds owes an agent 100k. Another shill says that Tradewinds isn't paying their agonaldo. Another shill goes in and says that he also got stiffed. Another shill goes in and says that within weeks they will be out of business. And just when the rumors start to die down, another shill in the conspiracy starts another rumor. the problem in this picture is that "some" people start to believe it, and the rumor gets passed on and on and then distorted. All these books can hope for when it comes to the viciousness of these forums is more regulation. And they have to hope that people are smart enough to look at these lies like Sr Muny's the boy who cried wolf, and realize that rumors that go on and on without resolution are meaningless just like the boy who cried wolf. People have been yelling "fire in the theater" against rio for so long that I know for a fact that it is B.S. I am staying there for the duration with supreme confidence. Also, I am looking for any of those Shills to come out of the woodwork and wager against Rio and the shrink that rio will be out of business in a year. this should be interesting

Truthteller, i think we are all waiting for you to put up money that rio will be out of business. If you don't do so, with me, your credibility is absolutely zero. if i was out there warning the public about a book imminently becoming defunct, surely i would wager on my "inside information." I along with everyone else am anxiously awaiting your rhetoric as to why you won't put up your coin that rio is going under. Surely you trust Spiro to hold the money. I am really getting tired of everyone here spouting off, and nobody putting their money where their mouth is. mvbski, you are right, if he doesn't put his money where his mouth is, he is obviously a liar, and should be banned.

I posted my perception and opinions and presented the reasons why. If thats not allowed then no one has to ban me I'll just lose my login info.

No one has any right to censor until they have another method of investigating hearsay. This is a site saying in general that things cannot be stated without fact but have a flawed "top sports book" list as of right now. Is this site for the players or the books? Books build their house the players just visit it.

Like I said, if somenoe is multi posting or bumping things then ya, obviously thats not ethical but you can't go banning SBR for not statiing where he got his info or me for making a point about borrowing money in a time where books are losing post up, even if you disagree.

Nothing makes this site's points more valid than mine. NO one here has proven to be more of an authority than the veteran poster. If i make that post once and tell why THErx should back me when RIOSHill attacks me. I for sure wasn't attacking him. Its business and he has yet to show a bank statement.

Here he attacks my character for not liking what I say. Rio gets negative marks for employing this guy. I missed Rioshill signup day I guess.

What is your prediction for the future of Rio? How will it play out?

I am not talking to Rio here, like with Mike. I am looking for a reason to create sense with this. I just do not see any evident problems with Rio. Maybe there are, but what have I seen that would make me feel it were true? It worries me just to hear it. I can only imagine what some others(with Rio) feel if indeed false.

I sure hope that all is fine and Rio is with us for a long time. Hope you feel that way as well.

If your posts create a run on them, then we will see if there are complaints as well.

Let's see how it all works out.

Billdozer, i was raised with the understanding that money speaks louder than words. why don't you shut up all of the refuters by simply entering into the 1 year bet that Rio will be out of business in 04. The Shrink said publicly that he would put up any money to match anyone who says rio will be defunct with Spiro at Olympic. The fact that no detractor has stepped up to wager tells me that these people are basically feeble and you are all exposed publicly. "$$$$ speaks louder than words." Let's not forget that. woah there nelly. Do me a favor next time and read the post you are assuming about. If you read it you'd know that I don't want them to fold. I hope they do well and welcome me in again someday and fire that dirty cat litter chunk Shill.

I don't necesarily agree with the negatives said about them. I was just calling what I saw. If they want my approval in public then they can show me the wad.

!!!!!Lets not forget that the only reason I took a hard look at them was when they called me begging for me to sign up, asking me when they can expect my deposit!!! and updating me everytime the site reloaded.

That sudden marketing change is enough to raise a public eyebrow so take it easy! I hope they get huge. They have some of the things I like in a book. If I was confident IIS would be great out for me. At that same time books were crumbling having less than post up and Shilly starts talking about how they are willing to borrow money to pay a debt like they should get a pat on the back.

I don't expect the Shrink to do anything like that. I view him as another respected poster. If he felt responsible for who he reccommends he would of tossed back advertising profits from the books that folded. Hes a smart guy that did well for himself and I'm more worried about the opinions of the guys who are not loaded.

Anyways... this is about not censoring. Forums are for chatter. kick out the relentless but its up to me to decide which posters i give merit to.

You sure are paranoid. I didn't make any slanderous comments. Mostly everything I said was "general" comments. You go on about being banned, blah,blah,blah. As for you bet, no thanks, I actually hope that everyone who says Rio is going down is wrong. I don't get any pleasure out of seeing a sportsbook bite the dust, I wouldn't get any pleasure out of making $$$ like that. Seems like to me the signs are there though that this place is in trouble. I know that if I had the balls to start a new thread about a book going under that I would certainly put up some amount of money to show people that I have a factual basis to my allegation. the fact the nobody has stepped up to wager the Shrink with Olympicsportsbook.com holding the money makes all of your arguments hold very little water with me. I have been with Rio, and other don best books for a long time, and I have to agree with mvpski that this looks like a phony campaign against them. My god, if I opened a thread that CRIS was about to go under, I would at least throw a $100.00 wager at it. I would feel pretty audacious to open a thread that is that inflammatory without at least wagering something. Especially in a forum filled with guys jonesing to gamble on something. C'mon, give us a break. Does anyone like the 49'ers Sunday? That is my play of the week.

a broken sportsbook cannot fund any escrow account,they can only take as many bets as they can and hope for a profitable season,actually I have come to believe that this is the CR model
