Kelly Leak, Engelberg and Rudi Stein.

Close but I don't think Engelberg Humperdinck ever played in the majors...

Vague clue - two of the three are in the Hall of fame..

Serious clue - Pittsburg Pirates is the team they were playing for when they hit the multiple homers in the same game.

Final vague clue - one of the HOFers hit three homers in the game while the other two teammates had two each. Even a player on the opposition hit two homers that day.

Gravy - Cubs answer is a nope.

Good job Steak Tartar.

Ralph Kiner, Hank Greenberg and Billy Cox for the Pittsburgh Pirates on August 16, 1947.

Ralph Kiner hit three successive home runs for the host Pittsburgh Pirates,
in a 12–7 win over the Cardinals in a game in which the two clubs bang out major-league record (since topped) 10 homers.

Two other Bucs, Hank Greenberg and Billy Cox, and one Cardinal Whitey Kurowski each contribute two home runs to set a major-league record for most players with 2+ homers in a game.

Final question today and from the black bag. Contemporary player (since 1960)

Who has the most RBI in a season with less than 10 home runs in the modern era (since 1960)?
