The idiot that wrote that piece of crap aught to read some American history; the jerk is equating events that happend as much as 100 yeasr ago to what's going on now!

Today's ideology and culture eveloved from past events that had little if any relation to what is happening now.

Can you believe anyone can be so stupid to say that past events have little relation to what is happening now? This man, and I hate to say it is an
incredible idiot. Mr. blighted why don't you do some reading and try to educate yourself, it is so obvious that the last book you had in you hands came with
crayons.

stacilu - I'll try to make this simple, since you're unable to understand complex abstracts

What happened yesterday affects what happens today -

What happens today doesn't affect what happened yesterday - you can't travel back in time -

of course, I'm sure that Al Gore invented a time machine, just as he invented the internet, so maybe I'm wrong about timew travel.

I hope that thinking some original thoughts didn't hurt your hack brain.

Mr. Blighted

Read you quote again, that is not what you said. Maybe, it
is what you meant, but not what you said. You should learn
to organize your thoughts and proofread. It is a skill you are
sorely lacking.

No big deal to make a mistake once in a while but geez you
seem to make one in every post. BTW, what the hell is
"eveloved." I guess you can be excused because in a
different post your mentioned that you are already thinking
about a painless death. Thus, I imagine your user name.

I honestly think you need a refund on all the money you wasted on an education.
It is certain fact that history is replete with examples of history repeating.
Most things are at least an indirect result of past actions and policies.
Additionally, why is the guy and idiot and the message a piece of crap?

I think you display a typical neocon reaction to facts that you can't refute....you have no valid rebuttle.
The truth hurts sometimes, doesn't it?:hammerit

Cussin it

What makes you think Mr. Blighted has an education. I would
wager half my toes that he barely graduated High School.
This guy is probably a white, old alcoholic, maybe divorced
once or twice and probably abused his wife or children possibly
both. Now of course he will deny this, but he fits the mold.

Cuissin it, actually, I'm a moderate.

As for history - I'm not talking about history, I'm talking about cultural differences; take a look at the culture that existed then and the culture that exists now - they're barely related.
In todays culture and by todays standards FDR and Truman would be fascists, JFK would be a conservative and Eugene Debs would proabaly be a Republican.
The industrial revolution and the robber barons framed Eugene Debs, WWI and the great deopression framed FDR and Truman, and WWII and the cold war framed JFK - I guess you could say that we're products of the information age.

stacilu - your ignorance is shadowed by your hubris - you are a wonder in your own eyes - get a job and try paying your own way and leave the welfare check to some needy individual.

Again you show you stupidity and dementia. I told you before and I will
tell you again. Never, never in my life have I received a government
check. Obviously, you can't read or have a very bad memory which
is in line with your user name. You are a typical reactionary; whenever
you have no rebutatal or the facts are stacked against you, you will
turn to slander and name calling. For a change, observe what the
world is saying, get out of your trailer park, try to get sober and
attempt to learn something new. I have taught college freshmen
that were political ignorant and nearly clueless yet they had ten
fold more intelligence than you.

In spite of me informing you what my intentions are and how
I am playing with you and some of your idiot friends you still bite.
Now please respond with some more dribble my friends are due
shortly and we appreciate the humor. Don't disappoint us.

Ok BB, fair enough. Though I may not completely agree with you, I understand your point. Excuse me for sounding harsh, anything spent or done to further ones education is certainly not a waste, in most cases, as long as the loan is paid back.

I think the real point of this fellow's writing is the fact that so much is made by the Republicans that being Liberal is akin to being deformed. You always hear this crap about "most liberal voting record in the senate", et. al.

To call a person Liberal as if it is a condemnation of their beliefs and philosophy is just absurd, ridiculous, and disrespectful.

Liberals or liberal minded people have been directly responsible for a host of many good and constructive things.

cussinit - after spending a lifetime living in the Peoples Republic of Massachusetts, and for about 24 of those years I believed the drivel the Dems fed me - I guess I'm more biased against the left than the average guy - you know what they say about reformed people.

stacilu - first you say you're a school teacher, then you say you worked in day care , then you say you're retired - it's no wonder you like John Kerry - you're just as confused about what you are as he is.

I said I was a teacher and retired. Yes.
I said I owned and ran a day care center with the
caveat that you better have the time to be
there and put in the hours. I hired people and
they didn't take care of the business like an
owner/operator would. Now in your mind a
person cannot teach, own a business and retire.
They can. I also was in the Navy, worked on
a production line making toner, sold baby furniture,
worked in the coal fields, taught part time at
a job corp, and sold retail. Anything else you
need to know just ask.

I hope you took your blood pressure meds this morning! You have to learn how to calm down! What are you going to do when Bush is re-elected? Have appoplexy?

So you were in the Navy - just like John Kerry and retired - just like John Kerry - like I said - you're just like John Kerry.

I guess that is another question. Again for your info, since you are
so concerned about my bp. Good news, my internist just asked me
to stop taking my bp medication.

Just like J Kerry, I am afraid not.
Again you don't really read or just can't remember my quote about
"liberal hogwash and conservative reactionaries" I unlike you, do
not buy into either one of them. Neither truly represent the
needs of the people and both are very happy to legislate away
our precious freedoms. You are too caught up in their nonsense
to see that. I feel sorry for you and your kind.
