UW @ Arizona St (-2.5)
UW in rebuilding mode and has been playing really good defense. The offense scored 49 two weeks ago and it was more than they had scored the previous 3 games combined. They took a step back last week against Utah though in their loss last week. BTW, I have a $1k wager on UW under 4.5 win total before the season. I would have really been feeling good had USC not spit the bit in the colleseum to them a few weeks ago. I don't see UW's offense doing much on the road in this one but their defense will play hard. ASU on the other hand is in dire need of a win after loft expectations before the season began. They have played well at times, beating UCLA on the road, but have lost some tough games. This game is a MUST WIN if they have any hopes of going bowling. They have typically been pretty good at home against the lower half of the conference and this is a spot where I think they step up. I don't think this team has quit yet, and they have Zona on deck next week. ASU -2.5 (I think they win by 10)

KState @ Tx Tech Over 70
So KState has trouble stopping the pass, and Tech has trouble stopping the run, the strengths of each team is opposing the weakness of each team. KState has lost 5 straight but it's been to Baylor, Texas, OU, TCU and Ok St and other than Texas, it's the top of the conference opponents. The moved the ball against Baylor, TCU and OkSt, the 3 teams with weaker/limited defenses and they get Tech today who does not play defense. It should be a very high scoring game. Play the OVER 70.

Ark+7 @ LSU
Hogs see this as rival game and have played well of late. They are running the ball and throwing it as well and have found some balance. And beating Miss last week was a huge win. LSU coming in off physical game against Bama and maybe a bit of a hangover with Ole Miss on deck. That was an extremely physical game for them and the hogs are coming in and wanting to pound it again. I think Fournette gets his, but I think a TD might be too many to lay in this spot. Take the Hogs +7.

Agree with you on the first two, hard to play Ark even though I do agree that they have some momentum right now BOL Win

WinOne,

I'm with you on the ASU side.
Todd Graham needs to teach better "How to avoid disaster."
They'd be a much better team if they learned to hold down their liquor.

2-0 so far and even had the margin of victory for ASU (by 10) correct.
TxTech/KState is a track meet. That one was easy. Tough one is still on the board with Hogs.
BOL Fellas!!

Bama beats the heck out of team. Hard to recover from that beating with no rest and Hogs wanting to be physical as well. This was an easy one.

Thanks fellas, even had Wazzu and a ML play on them. Just caught UCLA at the wrong time (Utah and USC on deck) and those late night Rose Bowl games for UCLA just dont have any juice from the fans. Wazzu is gritty, just wonder how long they keep Leech as hc.

Pretty boy better start recruiting some defensive players. Tech is always bad on defense. But they are extra sorry this year. I can't wait to bet against them in their bowl game.

So it's interesting, was talking with one of my coaching buddies about this. Since it's hard to find big bodies for the DL, why not take some of your OL recruits that have big bodies and teach them DL techniques. Hell they already know how to use their hands, all you'd have to teach them was leverage and gap protection. Watching our HS football playoffs and I see more kids who have big bodies on the OL, but probably would be better playing DL.

Something tells me it's more than just the line. TTU actually had more returning starters and were deeper on the DL this year than they've been in years. And they have 3 top 100 blue chip recruits starting on the line. I think their biggest problem is they've had 8 different DC's there since 2007. And he fired one DC mid year last year. The really good DC's out there knows exactly the kinds of players they want for the system they run. TTU has never really had that chance with a revolving door of coordinators and different coaching philosophies changing every season. They are -9 in TO margin this year, which tells me their back 7 aren't doing a very good job either..

I would agree with that. Also Tech does not pay their coordinators. They will always lack that continuity, it's a stepping stone
