1)Maryland – 6. This game came to us as if almost in a dream, Maryland has been excellent at home, Virginia shitty on the road and even without Perry, who has been out much of the year anyway, we will go with the home team here and hopefully hang on to that TD victory.

2)Indiana +18 ½. Ok, we know Indiana is bad, horrible in fact, but for Penn St to be favored to beat ANYONE by 18 ½ points is an absolute joke.

3)Pittsburgh pk. We love Pittsburgh here, West Virginia seems to have peeked a few weeks ago with the Virginia tech game, and Pittsburgh is playing for the Big East title with their most recent win and with Miami on the horizon. Take the better team here.

4)Northwestern +17 ½. Were this game in Ann Arbor we would take Michigan, it’s on the road so we are left with a HUGE home dog that is playing their best ball right now. Anyone who wants to give away this many points on the road with Michigan be my guest but not here!

5)Minnesota +6. IF Kaliq plays, this is a nice looking play, if he doesn’t all bets are off. Iowa is clearly the most overrated team in the big ten, if not the nation. Take the points as this one will be very close for sure.

6)Florida -7. Florida has NEVER lost to South Carolina…EVER! That’s good enough for me, this is pure teaser gold.

7)LSU -6 ½. LSU has been ATS gold this year, not much should change here as Alabama has been all over the board this year, nothing consistent at all from them. More Teaser gold if nothing else.

8)TCU -6 ½. TCU is on that mission, finish undefeated and get to a big bowl, which they will do if the BCS standing stay similar to how they are now, and if they don’t lose! We don’t see them losing at home to Cincy here, so take the home team in a winner!

9)Nebraska +2 ½ (TOP PLAY). Can’t ever recall Nebraska being a home dog, and in Lincoln they have absolutely dominated K-state. Getting points here should be a gift!!!

10)Ucla -2. This is mostly a play against Oregon, not much we like about this team anymore, especially on the road.

I like K-State. Of course I'm a fan, but you should note that this is not your father's Nebraska team. You should also note that while KSU has not won there since 1968, KSU has not had a team that has remotely matched the Nebraska talent until the last 8-10 years. In that time frame, when KSU has played Lincoln, Nebraska has been in the National Championship game more times than not, were undefeated twice and had never lost more than 2 games. Translation. KSU was losing to damn good Nebraska teams. I'm not convince this is one, in fact, I'm sure. Nebraska has overachieved and KSU underachieved. KSU is coming around and Nebraska is not.

I really think that KSU has more talent on both sides of the ball and an edge goes to NU on Special Teams. KSU should win this game. If you are betting Nebraska you are betting soley on trends. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Good luck.

Our resident Big 12 expert (shortbus) is calling his Kansas State selection a top pick. That, is good enough for me.
