A buddy owes your wife money.......

I got a buddy, he owes my wife $550, now, I know it's not much, but it's the principal behind it.

He is known to take a long ass time to pay debts. He was in a bind and we had an extra car. I was going to keep it, but decided it was a bit to small. So, talked to the wife and she agreed she would sell it to him for $500 down(that he got from his mom) and pay $150 a month till it is paid off.

He's made 1 payment so far. We agreed to a payment due date of the 25th of each month. Well, here it is the 3rd and he text me today saying he doesn't know where he is going to get the $150.

Part of me just wants to pay my wife an say he paid and I will just assume the debt. But I think with my wife on him it might pressure him to pay.

If he doesn't pay, I have to listen to my wife with the "i told ya so's"

I thought it would be different, but guess not.

Friends suck when it comes to debt for the most part. I have lost many friends over what I would consider chicken scratch but was the principal like you said.

I would say leave the wife after him. Or pull a Repo man on his ass.
