after the dust settles will any TOTAL numbers of $ envoled ever be posted for those who are curious?

Don't think that would come out, if and when there is a bailout. But I can only ask if the Book that does get it, wants to have that posted.

I'm working with the First Book Involved. I'm a little behind because WE both were told Not to say anything at the time. But Bill Jumped the Gun.
Which is fine with me, as long as a Deal can be Done.

I'm Not looking to take any Credit on the Deal. I just want it to be a Fair Deal for the players. And this Deal that has been out there for Over a Week, I Believe is more than fair.

reckon dozer had his reasons for goin public. deal was fair but now im thinkin maybe covers is tryin to grab a piece. startin to stink

Yeah well as i was talking to the GM that day and he's telling me don't leak it yet, he turns around to me and says Too late.
Like I said, doesn't matter, as long as the bailout is a Go.

and yes, it seems that those guys over there have their hands on another Offer
or I like to call it, their hands in the Cookie Jar.

keep us updated if u hear anything else BAS.

reason why i thought it was justbet is because I know they just got a big client list they were buying.. a friend of mine who works there as an acct rep said they were buying a big client list and he was about to be busy on the phone for the next week or two.. i was just piecing the two things together and assumed it wrong. oh well.

the part i had been mistaken about at sbr was that dozer said that there would be an opportunity to get your entire balance with no deposit being made.. although ur correct deal states that, 10% at a time wasnt in his original agreement he had heard so i had mistaken that he thought it was going to be a full balance deal with no deposit required.

in any case if this deal goes through.. wow for the new book to be so gracious to offer the players this deal. i will definitely be posting up there myself once i hear who it is... I will reward them with my measly few hundred for being a good book with a superman cape :D

After NE beat the Rams in the SB after the 2001 season a few known books hit the dust. There was a SB I had about 3,500 in I forget the name Camelot or something like that. The owner of the book was very upfront with the clients & I think respected in the industry & it was a fairly big book. After a week or two he made a deal with Olympic, all we had to do was give Olympic our user name at the failed book and the balance there and Olympic gave all the clients of the failed book 2000 in Olympic to bet on, I was elated. Maybe something like that will happen here for Beted clients!

Ah...let me take a stab in the dark...They were a SPONSER!!!Do some reserch BEFORE you take their money. This might help everybody out a little

The way you said "highly recommended" it sounded like someone here was Touting them as highly recommended.

Yes True, that they hung a Banner here but we Don't "Rate" them like other sites.

I could think of 6-7 above that i would "rate" higher than BetEd. If I were to Rate them.

So I think IMHO " highly recommended " is a little Out There.
You can say Recommended because their banner was up Top, but not highly recommended.

Just want to give you an Update on the Bailout

I can now say that the Offer that was ( Still is ) on the Table came from Betonline

But it seems that BetEd has Refused their Offer.

The Offer placed on the Table was to Bailout the PLAYERS, and IMHO was/Is a Great Deal.

This Offer has been out there going on 3 weeks ............

To Break down your balance, 10% at a Time. and Rollover that 10% 1X which would take 10 Months in All to get 100% of your Balance out.

OR .... you can Make a Deposit that Matches your Balance and just Roll that Over 10X, and you can have your money in Days...Weeks or whenever that Rollover is done.

It also seems as though Covers has BetEd's ear in some way or another.
and has been helping in some way to drag BetEds feet on this.

Update

Just want to give a little Update on the BetEd bailout.

As some already know, there has been a few Bumps in the road.
It is said that BetEd ( as posted above ) was looking for the Best Deal.
* Best Deal for Them, IMHO ... not the Players
and That another Forum kind of got in the way of a Deal that was put on the Table over 3 weeks ago.

That Deal was from Betonline.

Anyway, it was said that Now with things out in the open. A Deal might not be in the Plans.
Books looking to Bailout the BetEd Players are worried that Maybe.... just maybe that BetEd would play around with their Player Database.
To make it more or less a Better List, with less debt, etc.

Well I spoke to Betonline yesterday and they said they are Still Willing to bailout the BetEd Customers .

When speaking with Alex at Betonline, I ask him Point Blank if he was still if their Deal that on the Table is still Good.
And his answer was, All BetEd has to do is Come up with the database and He will Honor his Offer to the Players.

Now it is Possible that BetEd could play around with that Database, but there are ways to Tell if this has been done.

So Again, The Ball is in BetEd's Court !

Let's just Hope that Covers or any other "Outsider" doesn't get in the Way.

Will keep you guys updated if anything else comes in. (<)<
