Thanks VIc ! These are the posts I have been waiting to see! Seems like all the old crew from your contest games the last few years have up and left. I appreciate your input to this board as one of the best Puck cappers around- you don't win em all, but you sure give us something to mull over and think about while we serve our two minutes in the box! Keep em coming bro...Buffalo Bob

I hate to draw conclusions after one playoff game but last night's games illustrate to me why all six of those teams have no chance of winning a cup. No team defense and goaltender save percentages at .900, (and lower), is not a winning formula in any hockey game much less the playoffs.

While the games were all exciting to watch they just didn't resemble playoff hockey to me. Wayyyyy too many offensive opportunities. Guys getting in behind the defense, passing lanes wide open...what happened to the limiting your competition to time and space? None of that last night. Looked more like a game played in mid January rather than mid April.

You wont see that undisciplined/loose play from the likes of Boston, Los Angeles, Chicago, etc.

Agreed! I couldn't believe how many long passes up the middle kept happening in that Canadiens game! Playoff hockey at it's finest I guess. I have a number of under leans tonight, should be interesting to see as yesterdays games all went over.
