If he's hitting 4 out of 10 then you can see what he's playing and play against it. Nobody is going to lose every pick no matter how bad they are. I fade some people and they do win sometimes but long term they lose big. Usually when a bad gambler is on a side it is a side that many are on. That's how big bookie gets his winners.
Actually this game didn't scream the Orioles at all. It might not have screamed Seattle but Olsen and his 7 road ERA against Washburn who's been pretty good lately did not appear to be a bad bet. Of course now that we see the score of the game it was a bad bet but I don't think anything was screaming play Baltimore. What I have learned about fading is that picking and choosing will get you in trouble. Just like BB's plays. If he posts four plays he really needs and you only like one of them chances are you aren't going to do as well as just playing all the plays he needs. You either have to fade them all or none. Like today what if you liked only Cleveland out of BB's needed plays and just couldnt play Colorado or Pittsburgh? You would have gone 0-1 while he went 2-2.
Orioles just took 2 of 3 from the Yankees and Olsen beat the Angels his last start. Still I'm not sure why anybody would bet on the worse team in baseball unless Felix was starting.
