There has been some epithet tossing in this thread but, IMO, it has been travelling in the wrong direction.
I gamble. As for middles, I look upon them as money lying on the sidewalk. If I see it, I pick it up and I have no problem with anyone who does.
If I was to start yelling epithets at any forum characters, it would be the ones who risk money without knowing what they're doing. They don't understand the mathematics. They pat each other on the back and encourage each other for thinking of angles that the linesmakers know perfectly well. They chase statistically insignificant trends. They play transparent psychological games with themselves and each other to justify their coin-flip plays.
A lot of them must have families.
IMO, people should be looking with a critical eye at themselves instead of pointing fingers.
