A "unit" should be your average wager size. So yes, they could vary from person to person. But a "unit" should not have a numerical value. If my average play size is $500 per play, and yours is $50 per play, I'm not betting 10 units to your 1. It's even at 1 unit each.
So this guy is saying this play is 50x his standard wager. Sounds made up.
1unit should be your average wager. Some plays are 0.5u. Some are 2u, maybe 3-7 times per year you have a 5u play. Maybe a game of the year is 7 units. But 50 units. GTFO of here with that. All he is trying to do is inflate his profits.
