80% on the year - please read

An invidiual in our contest has had the following results thus far in the year:

Week 1: 4-1
Week 2: 3-2
Week 3: 5-0
Week 4: 4-1

That's 80% over 20 selections.

Anyone have an idea of the odds on something like that? His plays are rather suspicious at times, he'll pick a side and total on the same game a lot, something that is rarely done, at least in our little contest.

There is something I learned recently that makes me suspect him of wrongdoing, but I don't want to get into that right now.

If someone could give me rough odds on someone hitting 80% over 20 selections I would appreciate it, and I'll be sure to post his picks for next week, even though we go with opening lines so they may have moved by the time you get them.

I think they odds of that are about as good as me posting 0-6-1 today and about 2-9 yesterday. That's hard to do. Follow me and fade and you might win. If my 4*'s get hot watch out. I have been hot in MLB so check there for my playoff selections.

There is something I learned recently that makes me suspect him of wrongdoing, but I don't want to get into that right now...

unless the guy is posting his plays AFTER a game starts, what could he be doing to cheat?? a side and a total on a single game means he has a strong opinion on how the teams will play the game. 80% over 20 games is a streak. It's not uncommon and nothing to be alarmed about.

The contest I'm in is the same as the Hilton contest. 5 plays a week-no totals. The guy in first place after 4 weeks is 18-2.
1st 5-0
2nd 4-1
3rd 4-1
4th 5-0

There can't be any suspicion about cheating because everyone in the contest gets everybody's picks before the games start.

I followed some of his picks these week and won some money. Next week I will be on all 5 of his picks. That's when he will probably go 0-5.

I will post them as soon as I get them, usually by Wed night.

Keep in mind again that we hold the opening line, so at least some of them should move a bit.

I bring this up because it has come to my attention today that this guy knows at least one active player in the league.

You can laugh all you want but I believe some of these games are rigged - nice phantom holding call in Jacksonville today to cost them the game, huh?

We'll see how his plays hold up here over the next few weeks...
