Buffett would you agree it would make sense to lay off the Rays with what happen eysterday, bullpen use, rally, blown game twice. If not why?

No. The Rays are the only favorite I am currently on today. Not sure why yesterdays game would downgrade their worth today. I have yet to see any statistically significant data that suggest the odds of losing (or blowing a lead) in a game increases if they lose the game before with a last inning comeback. The Mariners worked up their bullpen yesterday as well, and the pitcher least probable to go today is Aardsma. Shields can eat up innings, Snell not so much.

Downgraded the Reds 9 cents. Line has moved in favor of my overnight. Bought back 60% of my Reds position for a nice partial scalp. Currently risking small to win medium (buyback makes my current Reds position +180)

Ewww Alex Gonzalez in the 2 hole. Medium play now buying back too. Made some profit by beating the open by a decent amount.

Why is the closing line sharper than the opening?

General market principal theory suggets that there exists a postive correlation between the level of efficiency of the market and the time remaining for market participants to make positions. Although the baseball market is not perfectly efficient, it is efficient enough to fit into most of the gerernal market effiiciency principles.

The oddsmakers have less time and ability to discount available information compared to market particpants, who as a whole are better discounters than a small group of oddsmakers. There is a reason why you see the 20 cent shops open the lines, with small limits, in all American sports aside from WNBA. The oddsmakers goal is not to try to set the most efficient line possible. It would be too costly, nearly impossible to do so, and counterproductive up to a point. Rather their goal is to set a line efficient enough that they wont get whipsawed by the market and use that 4.54% as a weapon to combat market participants better ability to discount.

I have over 8 active sportsbook account online.

Recommendations for baseball would be BetJamaica (great good odds on overnights), Matchbook (best odds you'll find anywhere only bad thing is you have to wait for overnight lines and commissions.
