70,000 Beer Cans!

Did anyone hear this story, a guy living in an apartment, finally moved out and left his landlord with 70,000 beer cans all piled up in his apartment.

He lived there 8 years....the cans were recycled for $800.00

I saw a picture of this on the news earlier, but have yet to find a link online.

That's 24 beers a day on average for 8 years.:lolBIG:

El Grokko, on the other hand, hand-smelted and formed metals for containment, contracted out a large part of the Eastern part of Canada to grow hops and barley, and temporarily redirected the Niagara Falls just to satisfy his personal tastes.

I hadn't heard that they recycled the cans, but I was thinking what a waste it would be throwing them out.

So my question is....HOW could a person ever live like that? I guess if you drink that much, you really don't care how many cans there are. But what did he do if he had to go to the bathroom? Must have had some special beer can crushing shoes!:toast:

Yeah. I dont know why they only got $800, unless they just made a deal with a recycler.

It would have been 3500$ in mass
