Reverse line movement involved. The Packers won't lay down and watch their biggest rival stay alive when they're already dead. The Bears wide receivers are horrible in decent weather, God only knows how bad they can be in below 0 wind chills. I still see the Bears winning this game but not by more than a FG. Something like 20-17 Bears but I could also easily see 23-20 Bears which is why I'm not touching the total.

I tend to agree but how have teams comin off a Thursday night game week b4 fair following week? Off hand I think theyve done well. I know this week it was NO and Chi and NO already won. This is a tough game but I lean Pack also. GL

Thanks. I think you can throw all that logic out the window today. No matter how well rested you are, in the temperatures they're forecasting tonight, no one can be prepared enough.

That being said, the line has shifted and it now makes sense. I truthfully had doubts about this pick from the beginning but the reverse line movement made me more comfortable. Now that it has moved in the right direction (went from -4.5 to -4.0 and stayed there w/ 76% of the public on the Bears but now it's upto -4.5 with 79% on the Bears), I am going to take my money off of the Packers +4 (Bodog has the Bears at -4 still, ill give up the juice) and completely avoid this game.

Sorry to those of you who followed me (all 2 or 3 of you :nohead:) but the advantages are outweighed by the risk in this investment and it is no longer worth it. If you ask me, the under might be the best play here but I'm not going to touch that either.

Good luck to all who decide to play this one. I'm just going to sit back and watch my team try and stay alive.

Teams coming off home Thursday night wins and playing at home the following week are 14-6-1 against the number.

Right, and I really didn't like my other reasons for picking the Packers so I just thought it'd be best to get out of the game completely.

Right now I'm kicking myself but who knows, we may see another ending like the Giants game last night (Bears tying it up in regulation and then scoring a rare GW TD in the overtime).

lol I'm an idiot. I've been dead on this weekend and I doubted myself.
wow.... I went 8-1 this weekend (only posted 1 play, followed kingdom come's 2 plays on the carolina/giants game) and would've been 9-1.
I'm an idiot! lol

good game.

Nice call Ramonskee.

thanks man, i just wish i had the balls to stick with it. i knew the bears receivers would suck worse than usual in the extra cold and the packers really kicked themselves out of this one.

Ramonskee, your instincts are right on. Your score was perfect! GB could've easily won that gm, but who cares, we won! I can only hope to pick winners half as good!

Thank you sir. I've just been getting lucky. But I do know the Bears quite well and I know the NFC North and South very well. You'll be better than me in no time (if you aren't already lol).
