***** Texas AM +12 (over OU) *****
The first thing a lot of people will think of is that Texas AM loss against Baylor last week, even the books are thinking that, and I say, GOOD!! I'm glad Tex AM choked against Baylor and Oklahoma won(along with all the Adrian Peterson highlights). Why do i love this? Cause the spread is now bloated to 12!! I'll take Tex AM with 12 pts at home against any team in the nation.
Everyone in the country, besides Baylor fans, will tell you that Tex AM was over looking that game and took it for granted. So I have no problem taking Tex Am for this game and happy that the spread got expanded. When you think about it, Texas AM is a more balanced team than OK state is, Texas AM won't be overlooking this game. They can wipe the disgusting shame of the Baylor fans running on the field around them to tear down the goal posts from last week if they can tear down their own goal posts for this game.
Tex AM is even better than Ok state. Tex AM went into Ok state and got the win. They went into Iowa st and not just win, but blew them out. Impressive road wins and also undefeated at home.
Oklahoma will be facing a lot better QB than they did against OK state. McNeal, for Texas AM, has only one INT this season. I don't think their is a startng QB in the nation that can match that. Plus McNeal throws for an excellent percentage.
Look at McNeal's last 5 game's stats........
58% 1 TD, 0 INT, (also rushed for 84 yards) vs Kansas st
59% 3 TD, 0 INT (also rushed for 26 yards) vs at iowa st
76% 2 TD, 0 INT (also rushed for 99 yards) vs at Oklahoma st
61%, 0 TD, 0 INT (also rushed for 153 yards) vs Colorado
65%, 2 TD, 1 INT (also rushed for 77 yards) vs Baylor <---Only INT all season.
Hard to find any other QB with those stats in their last 5 games. McNeal is the most consistent overall QB the Sooners have faced this season.
I don't got much to say about the Sooners than i said last week about them. They started off scoring no more than 7 pts in the first quarter(they have not scored more than that in the 1st qtr in the last 6 games), and the game stayed close going into halftime against Ok state. And the game stayed close enough the rest of the way to get the cover for Ok state. It should be similar for this game, but Tex Am will do a better job with Adrian Peterson. The Aggies only allowed two running backs to gain over 100 yds, but no more than 130 yds this season. Two running backs were Colorado's Purify 130 yds, and Ok state's Morency 118 yds. That's pretty impressive.
For the Sooners, the 3 of the last 4 games, they only beat their opponents by 12 or less points. The three games.....
Won against Texas by 12 pts.
Won against (at) Kansas st by 10 pts
Won against (at) Ok state by 3 pts
Texas AM is better than Kansas st and a bit better than Ok state!! And would most likely beat Texas if they played in college station. And Texas AM is getting a whopping 12 pts at home for this game!?!? What a gift!!!! I'm jumping on it!!!
Goodluck!
