Well, if 5D closes shop there are 2 main things that are going to happen... Bookmaker/DSI, Heritage, BetOnline and other books will get a chunk of new customers and deposits (if players dont get stiffed, otherwise contrary effect might happen). Second thing, over 100 people that work in the industry will be unemployed (hate this part as I know great people who work there) and will saturate an already crowded business, making it harder for everyone to get a new job.
The gaping hole 5D would leave in the industry should be taken as an advantage by some entrepreneurs with good connections to open a new book similar to 5D, only difference, owned by an actual decent human being.
Anybody have a link to the 5dimes case? I didn't even know 5d are having issues. If so, any suggestion on where should I transfer to? I like the 5D Dynamic Lines for live-betting (I use it a lot), and the 5d reduced juice. Any books that have almost the same as 5d features?
I also have a question on live betting lines. Does all books have the same lines for live betting when it comes out or each book have different live line that they play?

Yes I have been in the industry for years now.
the Job market is full of people already who wont be able to replace the salary or wage they get now. I have heard whispers of 2 other places going under shortly as well.
I doubt that the average small player getting stiffed will be an issue on re deposit somewhere else, but for the guy who had some good money offshore he may never deposit again. If they are going to stiff people I really hope they at least broker a deal with a competitor to absorb the fall out.

The only book who offers reduced juice and all the good I have personally used and worked with is Heritage.
Scary stuff about 5Dimes. Been playing there over 10 years....never a problem with a payout.....in fact it has never taken more
than 3 days from request to funds in hand.....until this week. Now between the delayed payout, the money laundering article
and the fact that I suddenly don't see them as a top book here on Rx, I am more than a bit worried. They have been the last of the great books.....in a class with Olympic, Pinnacle, BetJam and Matchbook....so this is a big deal if they are shaky.
Aside from concern about losing my funds (or having to jump through a million hoops to get paid), I really love playing there
it would suck to see it go.
