Just logged on and received the following message

"Wagering has been suspended. Please contact us for more information. "

being that I've been basically a break even player there, and played very small I knew it wasnt because I was "too sharp" for them. Contacted them and they advised they had fraud issues with one deposit method and that my account is frozen until they verify it was not fraudulant. They expect to resolve this issue within 7 days.

Anyone else have this problem ?? 7 days seems extreme to me. Its not a large amt of $$ and I havent used this deposit method in at least 4 or 5 months, so cant see why they suspect fraud now. Not a big deal as I am not planning on w/d funds soon, but this may make me change my mind.

not sure that the mods want deposit methods openly discussed here, but if there are no issues, I will post it. It is a somewhat popular method available to US residents..5dimes is not the only books using this method.

No issue if it is on their website. Echeck or PrimaPin?

if its not an issue, which it shouldnt be because the openly offer it..it was ewallet express. The deposit in question would have been made last in like September/October. Kinda funny to me coming back after soo long.

Never used ewallet. I've seen it advertised at some books but never tried it. I remember people posting that they were having problems using it or something right after neteller shut down

update on this..called 5dimes again yesterday and spoke with the supposed manager (not Tony). They stated I deposited in October and then processed a chargeback to ewallet on 2/22/08. Asked they how/why I would wait 4 months to chargeback something, espc after I had made deposits of larger amounts since then with no response. I asked for copies of anything showing I initaited the chargeback and all they can show is ewallet sending them a chargeback on my behalf.

So I log into ewallet and they are indeed showing a chargeback, but they are stating I owe them, not 5Dimes..there version is they were unable to process the transaction (I have proof they did process it) and that they paid 5Dimes and I owe them an outstanding balance. So basically someone is trying to double dip here..either Ewallet recovered the $$ from 5Dimes and is incorrectly stating I owe a balance, Ewallet never recovered a cent from 5Dimes and they owe me the balance, or Ewallet recovered from 5Dimes and is still trying to stick me for the claimed chargeback (for which I have proof that the funds were received by Ewallet). While I suspect the problem is the later and just a scam by Ewallet express..I really cant prove anything over than a. Ewallet received the funds in October and never credited me back and b. Ewallet and 5Dimes are both claiming they are owed for the same deposit, so clearly someone is lying here. The amount is so small its really not worth me getting highly upset about it ($100), but it's the principle of the matter and the fact 5Dimes sat 2 months doing nothing and making no effort to contact me that really upsets me with them. Ewallet I have 0 confidence in and would not doubt at all they are trying to pull a fast one here.

If the money was taken from originally, 5Dimes needs to resolve this for you immediately. I don't like hearing things like this.

I've notified Wil regarding the matter and will await to hear their response to him. Likely wont get anything done on a weekend with accounting out. Basically 5Dimes is playing it off as a problem between me and their processor saying the processor received the $$ back. Ewallet is saying something different.

While I can understand if it was an issue with me and my credit card or bank, ewallet is not my financial institution. Its the processor selected and used by 5Dimes. This simply means the issue is between 5Dimes and their choice of processor in my opinion. The time lags here are also very difficult to believe. What would 5Dimes be doing if say I won $10,000 in December on this deposit and cashed..still asking for only the amount of the deposit back ??!?? Of course not. Thats why books will not use processors who easily allow a chargeback and generally should have protections against this in their contract, tossing back any disputed chargebacks to the processer/player only. This is partially why ewallet gets such generous fee's for processing a payment.
