Above is an example where under 5.5 is +150 and over 6.5 is +125, so, essentially if you take those two plays, you only lose on a KO in the last half of the 5th or first half of the 6th. It would seem to me that wouldn't happen enough for this to be a -EV proposition. I realize this is akin to the "polish middle" in baseball, but with a far lower likelihood of losing.
