Why do people boast about having 5000 or more posts??? A. Who cares??? B. You are just proving that you have no life whatsoever! C. Also proving you have no Real friends.

It's sad, but it's true Gagne. I have also always wondered why people advertise it when they hit this big a milestone. In fact, I am extremely embarassed to have the amount of posts I have, even though one week from today, it will by my 3 year anniversary here. But in all honesty, it does make me think that a person with over 7000 posts is a very lonely and depressed man with no life and nowhere to go. Why would anyone be proud of to announce that they just hit a certain milestone. Jay Leno is not that bad though, but there are worse.

When you hit a big milestone like that, you are basically telling the world that I have no life and that I am a loser, and I hardly leave the house.

The people that should brag are the people who have 800 posts in 3 years, not 12,000 posts. These are the guys that have a life and should be more respected.

dante,

You and General are an exception though kiddo. You both work here and make money doing it. It's your job. Whereas most of us here don't really have to be here, yet we still choose to.

But I must admit, my posting has gone down 65% in the last 2 years. I used to average 10 posts a day back in '01, and now in '03, I am only averaging 3.5 posts per day.. I have started to live my life now and I am damn proud of it. At one time, I was a very compulsive poster who lived and breathed forums. Not anymore..

Keep up the good work, Dante.

Jay, you're way better than me. You are at 5.95 posts per day, and i am at 7.03 per day. Yet back in mid 2002, I was at 12.4 posts per day. I have cut that almost in half.

Why do we post. Some people like attention, others really enjoy a dialogue, others just want to be assholes. In a sense the internet forum has replaced the telephone, and newspaper as a source of obtaining and exchanging information. Reaching 5000 posts should not label a person a no life, but someone who has something to say once in a while, not to mention the sense of humor it takes to survive the mental midgets that come and go every day on this or any other forum.

Nice job Jay.

go count them dickhead since u have so much time. They are a good place. By your tone we probably held up a fraudulent withdrawal for you for multiple accounts or something cool like that. All the honest people that are in here and i have dealt with have nothing but nice things to say about me and for me.

So that is LSU Leno's employer who he shills for every day here. I don't *think* I have an account there and I say let's keep it that way. Any book that has this POS on the payroll won't get a penny in overdraft suicide deposits from me.
