I agree 100% with Fat Tony.

Dumb ass waste of a season. All depends on who is healthy.

But look at our basketball league, if you have one bad week in the playoffs, you wasted the whole season being in the top two.

Yea true... but it works that way in real sports too....

8 seed Warriors beat the 1 seed Mavs. Pats go 18-0 and lose the final game. I just think the playoff system and head to head is more fun. But thats just my opinion. Like I said I will play either roto or head to head.

If you have had so much success why are you scared of heads up? You need the roto setup to protect you?

:drink::drink:

Used to beating several thousand so beating fifteen shouldn't be a problem. Heads to head brings lots of flukes into play. Interested in the best winning, not flukes.

Trades can be vetoed if 4 guys agree or just let yahoo decide..I personally like Yahoo deciding because of collusion between players...

But real teams also sit players late in the season without consequence. The only consequence could be to your fantasy team.

(Of course that's more prevalent in football than any other sport.)

Now you have to decide what catorgories you are using and decide who picks first...

Well who picks first obviously has to be random. There is no other way to do that... Categories yeah we all have to come up with that for sure

Yea we learned this the hard way :missingte

I'm going to give some tips based on running last year's RX league. :lolBIG:

1) Unless you know the poster, make sure you're paid up before the draft. (I wouldn't worry about Jake or any of the regulars in here.) We had a guy draft and not pay last year and it affected some of the categories with his dead team.

(I also suggest you don't bother charging for transactions because you'll have to chase people again at the end of the year for money.)

2) Vote on every possible situation before the draft. Everything!!! Daily/Weekly transactions, Trade voting etc.

3) Don't change any rules mid-stream.

I'm sure I can come up with more. :ohno:

Get into a Yahoo league and let them determine the rules, or get a commissioner and let him decide...either way is fine by me..

Well you would ultimately have to pick the settings yourself whale... I am "trying" to run a basketball league on yahoo right now and you have to do that stuff as the commissioner of the league. Fat Tony also ran a baseball league last year so he could help you out with this question. Basically we all have to agree on what stats to use and how many players at certain positions and etc...

On the draft order, I think we should let Wil draw numbers 1-16 and let him decide..besides I already offered him a kickback..
