We have two major items on the docket.
ITEM #1: Who holds the money. I have no problem doing it and think I have proven my trustworthiness, but not all on this list know me so I won't take it personally if they are not comfortable. We're not talking about that much money here though, hopefully whatever is decided upon is not a deal-breaker for anyone. Personally I don't really care. I don't think the mods want to get involved with anything like this, especially to hold $700 for 6 months, so I'm laying out the options as follows:
(a) HarryCaray
(b) Choptalk
(c) Other (write in)
ITEM #2: Single or double elimination. If you're voting single elimination, that's straightforward enough. If you're voting double elimination there are a few options, I laid them out below:
(a) Single Elim
(b) Double Elim, tiebreaker is who had their first loss latest. Would only need a tiebreaker if 2+ people are still alive after week 17. Winner gets 100% of the pot.
(c) Option (b) but with the addition that the person who stays undefeated the longest gets 20% of the pot, while the eventual winner gets 80%. Obviously one person might win both and sweep the pot. For example: if you are undefeated until week 10 (and are the longest undefeated), and then lose 2 in a row, you still get 20% of the pot.
Please vote like I do in the post below. Will tally up all votes I receive in the next 24 hours and then we'll be off and running. So if you want your voice heard speak up. I will leave the league sign-up thread open for a week or so, but once we decide which way we're going I will post in that thread and any new participants are stuck with the rules we agree upon now. I want to do this now so we can start getting the money together.
