is 52bet.com and the sportingbet group the only ones who offer 5 inning lines to wager during baseball?

BoDog is garbage for their 5 inning lines because they increase the juice. I refuse to post up with MVP so I can't speak intelligently about them. CRIS is the best option because they stick to a 20 cent line with early posted overnights. WWTS is good, but a step below CRIS (as they are with everything except withdrawl fees).

5 inning lines were very profitable last season if you chose situations where pitchers were likely to struggle. This season the results have failed to fall in line with long standing parameters on pitcher weariness. I think it will correct itself eventually but in this business you never know.

Worldsportscenter.com a new Rx. advertiser has 4.5 inning baseball props (and several others). They do unfortunately use a 30 cent line though.

I've got this funny feeling that "grady" already knows the answer to this question, but just figured he'd add one more to his long line of shameless plugs for 52bet.

there is no way i would wager at worldsports cent since it just opened and really has no track record. Ok, good to know about the other books, always helpful when shopping around. All the best, off to watch the apprentice.

Pinnacle almost had them for a short time the other day (at least they had a menu option called 1st halfs in the Baseball menu). Would be a nice addition to their betting options.

I play these quite a bit. Some of my outs offer the 4.5 inning line. Some offer the 5 inning line. I look for a few things:

1. Do I like the home or away team. If I prefer the away team, I will shop for prices on the 4.5 inning line. The away team will get to bat at the top of the 5th inning. If I prefer the home team, I will shop for prices on the 5 inning line. Alot of times the juice will be a little ridiculous on both 4.5 and 5 inning lines, which leads me to................

2. 5 Dimes. They offer 5 inning run lines. Favorite lays -1/2. Dog gets +1/2. If I like the Dog, I can win two different ways: There winning after five innings or the score is tied after five innings. If I really like the Home team in a mismatch where they are the favorite, I might take a look at laying the -1/2. But again it really depends on the juice. These have the same good and bad issues to deal with as regular game run lines.

3. Totals: I don't play these as often on the 4.5 or the 5 inning line. But when I do, I'm comparing price to the situation. It really depends on how the home or away team, I feel should be factored in and what the difference in the two lines is. Is it 1/2 a run or a full run. The home pitcher, the away pitcher, tendencies, and trends.

I would suggest having multiple outs for these 4.5 and 5 inning line wagers.

Pinnacle is now hanging sides (8 cents), Run-lines (10 cents) and totals (10 cents) for the first half of MLB games, also Alt-Run line and totals for half games (5 innings).

FIRST-HALF WAGERS:

All wagers on baseball first halfs will be decided on the basis of the score at the end of five full innings.

If a game does not go five full innings, all first-half wagers will be canceled.

Once 5 full innings have been completed, all wagers on the first half will stand.

All first-half wagers must list both pitchers. If either listed pitcher does not start, wagers on the first half will be canceled.
