Not a good idea to go 5 innings in Mets game, as the Nats bullpen has been the worst to date. Plus Livan Hernandez is a big risk, as he gives up a ton of hits (league is hitting something like .310 against him). Mets pen has been terrific and you might need the second half of this one to pull out a win. Just my opinion. The other one is definitely a worthy 5 inning bet.
I would be actually be MORE scared of KC on the 5 inning bet than the mets.
Edwin Jackson has been lights out on the road this year giving up just 4 earned runs in 27 innings of work , and with KC being a little light in the lumber they may need to get to detroit's pen to be able to score....on the other hand if Grienke pitches like he has been , he's got a reasonably good chance of getting a complete game or going deep enough to go from starter to closer.
I like both games but i like them better for the game than the 1st 5 innings.
... of course i had Az and TB yesterday so i can certainly understand the fear of the pens ... lol
